These work great! I wanted some security cameras to capture some strange things going on in my 116 year old house 👻 but I didn't want to spend a ton of money. These capture pictures when it detects any kind of movement. There's a place for an SD card or you can get a subscription for the cloud. It also has night vision. Really easy to connect to the Wi-Fi really easy to set up

UPDATE: My initial review below still applies, but I am revising my rating based on the company's customer service efforts. I guess someone saw my review below, and a representative reached out to me. I have already purchased replacement cameras so the company offered me a refund on their cameras that I am no longer using. Because of the app issue I won't increase the rating more, but customer service is important, especially these days, so I appreciated their efforts to address my concerns. Raising my rating to 3 stars accordingly (even though the company communicated they did not expect me to revise my review, which I also appreciated).The cameras themselves work fine mostly, and until the most recent app update I would have given these cameras 4-5 stars. With the most recent update, however, the app is basically suspicious and possibly putting some kind of virus on my phone for the first 10 seconds or so when I open it because it opens some random webpage as well as showing me some random ad (not the same ad every time). Just now it was an Acura ad. Yesterday it was an ad about some girls playing something--which I closed immediately because I had no idea WHAT was going to show on my phone! I contacted the company, which provided some useless info about how to stop the ads from popping up randomly. The info was useless because it stopped the pop ups for a day--literally--and then they started popping up again 😡. There are also banner ads in the app now. None of this was occurring when I purchased these cameras, and the addition of unnecessary ads have ruined these cameras, and made me concerned about the security of the app at this point. I will be disabling the cameras and the app and purchasing something else. Very disappointed with what was a good purchase until this company seemed to get greedy and include unsafe ads.

I don’t know if it was just me but right out of the box, the cameras didn’t even turn on. We tried all the troubleshooting we could but nothing. I know they’re a good price but don’t be fooled!

It is very easy to set up & pictures/videos are clear. Capturing audio is not great, but we only use the cameras for the video.

These indoor cameras are honestly amazing, especially for the price since it comes with two cameras in the set. The picture quality on the app is super clear and I can see my baby perfectly at all times. I also love that it notifies me when my baby cries, which gives me a lot of peace of mind.The cameras themselves feel very well made and work great. The only downfall is that you have to buy your own SIM card, which was a little inconvenient, but other than that I really have no complaints. Honestly way cheaper than buying an actual baby monitor and it does even more. Definitely worth it!

I bought this in December 2023 and it is now August 2024, I’ve used the cameras in my kitchen and lounge windows , it does not necessarily need the night mode on at night as the night light camera can reflect off the window and give no picture of anything but the light but like I said it really isn’t necessary for that , used facing inside the home is great , the picture is good and the two way talking ability is handy . You can change the settings to only notify you when movement is noticed or you can ignore all and just have it set to record any movements and store it for later viewing , you do need a subscription for this but it’s very cheap and worth it in my opinion . I’ve had no problems with picture quality or anything and the cameras have been in constant use since the start . Connecting to wifi and to phone was very easy with the app . Once ordered I was sent an email regarding helpful tips with set up etc , can’t comment on customer service as it really hasn’t been necessary as the cameras have continued to perform well.As it is a plug in no comment on battery life but it runs well with the lead plugged in as expected lol. All in all I would recommend this .

I live on a main road which is some 10m beyond my front door. I have tried numerous external security cameras and video doorbells, all of which were far too sensitive at relentlessly pinging passing traffic. I came across Owltron two-pack indoor cameras which I purchased on the strength of their advertising and other customer reviews. I have set one of the cameras in my lounge on my window ledge facing outward to my drive and the other one in my conservatory also facing outward to my garden (both aspects are partially illuminated). I have set them to record motion/human filter and events only. I have turned off night vision as they emit a light that 'reflects' back to the lens when recording. The sensitivity of detection is very good and picks up motion over 10m away and does filter out fluctuations in light caused by passing traffic. I record the images in SD as this is more than adequate providing a very clear image, especially at night, for my purposes. I have tried the full HD and the clarity is picture-perfect. Both of my cameras now act as outdoor security cameras and provide me with a very good level of security at a very reasonable cost. Setting up the cameras was a doddle and I was up and running within 5mins. The app that one downloads to programme the cameras is jammed packed with features that make the use of the system easy to use and maintain. For recording 24/7, the cloud (at various subscription rates) would be the preferred route, as I only record at night time the SD card ( I have installed 128gb) route is more than adequate. The plastic build of the camera/s is tough enough to withstand heavy-handedness and clumsy falls. The wide-angle lens delivers a sharp, crystal-clear image, even in SD mode (and in the dark). Night vision mode (B&W) is as clear as day and even picks out moths in great detail! The camera/s can be mounted upright, upside down, and sideways on using supplied hard or sticky fixings, and can be turned in any desired direction, great for those awkward areas that need to be monitored. Customer service is one of the best customer services that I have dealt with and can be contacted via live messaging from the app. There is no being passed from number to number and advisor to advisor, the process is quick, direct and jolly helpful. In conclusion, I am very happy with my Owltron indoor cameras. Having tried many other cameras, these are by far the best and at such a good price. They are of very good quality, providing a very clear image and, come stacked with operational features that should satisfy most, if not all, security requirements.
