Pieces included: • 30 standard plastic checkers (15 black, 15 white/off-white, decent weight and size for a 15" board.) • 2 dice for each player and a doubling cube. • The board itself has printed points that are clear and well-aligned Size-wise, 15 inches is a great compromise—big enough for comfortable play (points aren't cramped like on tiny travel sets), but still portable and easy to store on a shelf or take to a friend's house. I am from Turkey and backgammon is an extremely popular game there. I purchased this for my dad so whenever he visits he can play. It's really useful that it has a handle so irs easy to carry. It's wood material so it's durable. It was in a really good condition. It has that nice wood color which i liked.

I bought the 15" (medium) for $44, then a week later it was on sale for $30. Ouch. But I will still give it 5 stars for the quality. Perfect size. One suggestion I will give it to keep the inner cardboard box and keep the kit in there. It will protect it and allow the kit to stand upright in the game closet. Otherwise, the box will balance on the bottom hinges, which is not solid, like the box. It was great playing this game again since 20 years ago. It's a great game and you will not be displeased. The quality is very nice. Poly leather, stitched inseams with pseudo felt, decent latching and hing hardware, uniform solid pips, quality dice, a "doubling die" and a fun and attractive pair of dice throwing cups. My kit included two extra pips, in case you are to loose one ... nice touch.
