I bought these because my new iPad uses a usb-c cord. I have several really good lightening cords which fit my old iPad. These adapters allow me to use my old six and ten foot lightening cords with my new iPad. Works perfectly and much cheaper than buying new cords Be aware these are basically for charging. Read the description carefully. I see no difference in charging time or connection quality. There is a little silicone band, one end slips over the adapter and the other end over your cord. You always have either choice readily available. This is so convenient for me as my iPhone still uses the lightening cord. Love this little silicone band.

Second time ordering these so I can have chargers in more locations around the house. This is a super affordable way to get more life out of your old lightening cords since new iphones take the C adapter. And the little rubber collar allows you to easily have access to the lightening plug for guests.

I purchased these lightning to USB-C adapters to repurpose my lightning cables. Lightning cables were Apples propriety cable interface for their products. These cables are costly and you don't want to throw them away, if you get a new Apple product. New Apple devices, have the USB-C connector, thanks to the EU charging standard. These adapters fit securely on the lightning and the USB-C side. Data transfer and charging speeds will vary depending on the quality of the cable you're using. The adapters look like they're built well and should outlive the cable they're connected to.

These didn't work for me and were useless. I have an old Clock Radio that uses the old 40-pin connector for an iPod/iPhone. I tried plugging this adapter into a lightning to 40 pin adapter so I could use my new USB-C iPhone to reset the time on the old clock radio. It didn't work. I saw the warnings that this adapter doesn't support audio. I suspect it doesn't support data of any kind.

These are for charging only... I guess? I have a wireless microphone and a square terminal that I needed to use with my new iPhone 16, and they didn't work.

My all in one charging station for my phone, watch, and airpods had the “old” style usb charger. I switched to air pods pro and wasn’t able to charge them on it. Bought these guys and they work like a CHARM!! Good price, easy to use, and good quality!

They work well. I like the rubber connector so I can keep it attached to the data cable. I wish they worked with headphones too, but as mentioned on their page, they do not.
