It is not sugar free. I use these as throat lozenges not as candy. I was introduced to the original syrup years ago when I had a cough that lasted for several days. My supervisor at that time was from Beijing and she brought in a bottle of the syrup for me. It worked like magic and I haven't been without it since. I keep a tin of these lozenges in my purse for emergencies when something hits the wrong spot in the back of my throat causing a coughing spell. They do the trick.

The taste mildly delicious. Approx 20 in a container.

How many come in the tin?

22 to 23 per tin. And they are wonderful. They soothe the throat and stop a cough better than anything I've ever tried. And they are all natural, too. We discovered them when living in Asia and are so thankful they are available in the US on Amazon.

Can I just buy the tangerine flavor?

No. You can buy the original as well.
