Let’s goooooo I finally got it to work!🗣🗣🗣 It took some trial and error, but this emulsion does work once you get the process right. My first mistake was using a putty knife instead of a proper scoop coater, and I had the light too far away which led to overexposure.🦧 On my second try, I used an actual scoop coater and moved the LED light closer. I exposed the screen for 10–30 seconds and it came out great.

Lovely product. High viscosity, but longer drying time unless using a fan in room. Fast exposure time! I print with a 125w flood lamp and I've found 2 mins and 40secs is perfect!

I ordered this in September and the batch that arrived was mixed in May, so the jar I received was already four months old, which shouldn't be a problem, since this is supposed to have a shelf-life of a year, but I could not get this emulsion to expose properly. I've been a hobbyist screen printer for nearly thirty years and I know how to expose screens and I know how frustrating it can be to try to dial in a new product, but I just won't waste my time with this one any more. The instructions on the jar have to be 2 pt. type and you need a microscope to read them, but they didn't help. I exposed with a 50W UV LED for 30 seconds—overexposed. I exposed for 15 seconds, still over exposed. I exposed a single coat for 8 seconds and I still could not get anything to wash out. I contacted customer support at Ecotex and they have not replied. I'm going to look for another product, which is a shame since this would be perfect for someone like me who only prints a couple of times a year.

After struggling with different emulsions, this was the winner. Coats the screen evenly with a scoop coater. I exposed with a speedball 30W LED for about 30 seconds and got a great burn. I don't do a ton of screen printing so I like that I could a premixed small container. Cleans up very easily.

Good for beginners. Not for seasoned screen printers. I recommend using the entire 8oz right away, because the emulation is only good for about a week after you open it.
