GRAUGEAR 5.25" PC Front Panel USB Hub - 10Gbps USB-C Ports, Dual USB 3.0, SD/microSD Card Reader, Audio Ports, Drive Bay Expansion for Desktop (Requires 20-Pin Type-E & 19-Pin USB Header)

Installation is easy. It fits the 5.25 spot perfectly. The screws supplied were just a shade short for my application, however I had longer screws to get the job done. After powering up and checking Device Manager, there was a flag for unknown USB Device. So I went and got the, Type E+20pin VL805&806 Driver, Installed the whole package and it cleared the flag. This Hub is very fast and very functional as well as looks perfect on my Dell Precision Tower 3620. I did have to purchase A PCIe to 20Pin + Type-E Internal Card, RIITOP PCI-e x1 to (19+1) Pin USB 3.0 Socket and USB C Type-e (A Key) Front Panel Header Expansion Adapter 5Gbps, as my motherboard was lacking in USB 3.0 and USB C Type-e A Key connections. This card did the trick for the Hub. I highly recommend this combination for SD/TS Card reader, and USB C connections, as well as 3.2 USB Connections. I did not test the speed of any of the connections, however they are plenty fast for my applications. I am very happy with the GRAUGEAR Hub!

I should have heeded the other 1 star reviews. I received this and let it sit in my closet in my closet for more than 3 months because I hadn't gotten around to moving my PC mother board to a new case. Installed this device in my new case and it didn't work tested the sata power cable, device was getting power, but the usb ports do absolutely nothing, won't even charge a device, I tested the 3.0 and 3.1 ports on my new case, they work just fine using the same motherboard ports. I found a card in the box claiming a "lifetime" warranty, I got in contact with someone in customer service and they sent me another one and didn't ask for the old one back, it did arrive very quickly, I plugged in the new replacement... Shocker, it didn't work either. I got in contact with them again and told them I did more diagnostic steps on my own to absolutely verify that this device is DOA, I also asked if they could send me a "known good" one, they got back with me asked me for my motherboard make and model, I sent them this 2 days ago as of writing this and they haven't gotten back with me, could be because of the weekend though. I find it astonishing that in 2026 I can't get a USB hub that works... I'll update this if I ever get this issue resolved but I'm past the amazon return window, these will probably end up in garbage as more E-waste.

I was surprised how well it works. I've had these kinds of devices from several different manufacturer's over the years and was pretty much always disappointed with the performance. This is the first one I've gotten where all the devices on the panel work and are fast. It's not pretty - no fancy colors or flashing lights. But that's what I wanted.

This actually connected straight to my motherboard. Zero issues. Make sure you have the connects on your motherboard-- otherwise, you'll need to get a SATA powered pcie card. This thing draws pretty good juice. I tried a non-powered PCIe card, and the panel would not pass windows verification. I was taking the PCIe card out when I noticed the type-E connector on my motherboard. The 19 pin was easy. I plugged it straight in, works great. Only downside for me, is, it's a half-sized unit. If you have a "tool-free" bay like I do, you'll not get to use the clips that lock a drive in place, you'll have to use a mounting screw through the guide-rail with a washer to catch. It fit a toothpick through one of the mounting holes--so I used a pretty long screw. It's kinda jank. But, the controller works. Beats the tar out of the AC97 audio my pc once had, also. It's worth it, I just wished I'd realized it was a half-sized unit.

I was rebuilding my 6 yr old desktop to get it Win 11 compatible so I thought this would be a nice addition since I was pulling out a DVD drive anyway. Install was a snap, all the cables were easily long enough to reach their respective connectors on the MB and it fit in the bay just fine. Totally plug and play, all ports and card readers work fine. I've not tried the headphone or mic jacks since I don't need them but the audio and mic popped right up in the audio settings. Having the card reader is handy instead of digging out a dongle to read cards. Construction is good, it feels solid. One thing to note is it does need a SATA power connection, I was out of SATA connectors but used a Molex to SATA adapter with no issue. If you want something like this it's a good piece.

Pheeww! The first good news is that it was not DOA. The reviews had me nervous. Second, it read my jump drive, I could connect my phone via the USB C port, and it read a SD card. I didn’t have a MicroSD to test that port. I didn’t test the sound connections either, but those are low priority for me. Good so far, but… the specs are clearly iffy. The USB ports are not to precise specs, so I had to push in my jump drives with some force. The width is effectively slightly short, so install requires a bit of extra torque. Not a big issue. Cord length is very good, and I could reach my MB with cable to spare. No issues there. Once again, the imprecise specs made attaching the headers to my MB a bit laborious. Overall, an adequate device, but I am not thrilled. I am concerned with durability, but time will tell. Quality feels on the mediocre side. I will update the review if and when anything happens.

This is a really excellent card reader. Fits well in a 5.25 slot, and the wires are long enough to connect to the motherboard. Excellent speed, good fit for both memory cards and USB sticks, and it just worked right the first time. It's pretty heavy, feels like it'd be durable for many years. Does not need drivers, true plug and play.

Purchased item March 12th. It did not arrive until March 24th. Item is dead on arrival. I verified that my SATA power connector works fine by plugging an HDD into it. I verified that motherboard USB3 wide connector works fine - I can plug in my case USB cable into it and it works fine. None of the ports/functions work on this unit. I'm guessing it's a power issue with the unit. I'm getting a replacement. I hope I don't regret it. I will probably have to wait a while again and I hope I don't get another dud. Here's an update a couple of days later. I submitted a request for a replacement from Amazon and in two days it showed up. I'm having the exact same problem - replacement unit is completely dead. Again, when I plug the same blue 19/20 pin cable from the front of the case into this MSI motherboard, the USB ports work fine. I'm completely stumped. I sent an email to [email protected] with the details of the mobo and pictures of the connectors plugged in. We'll see if they respond and how helpful they are. Update as of 3/29/25. Received no emails or call from support. Returning both original and replacement units to Amazon. Will not puchase from this vendor again.

最近 ASUS のマザーボードに切り替えてちょうど USB 3.2のフロント用のコネクタがあったんでこのフロントパネルリーダーをつけてみました。とりあえず無線のキーボードのコネクターをつけたり、同じく無線のトラックボールのコネクターをつけたりして利用してるんですけれども、何の問題もなく普通に動作してますね。このカードリーダーの外装の素材はプラ系です。電源を接続するためのコードはあまり長くないので、場合によっては延長用のケーブルが必要になるかもしれません。作り自体はそこまでカチッとしてなくてちょっと甘いかなってところがありますが、値段相応と私は思いました。動作に関しては安定的なのでそこは安心することができていいですね。

Ottimo pannello frontale. Ottimi materiali. Mi serviva un frontalino per porte USB 3.2 Gen.2 tipo A e C e per schede di memoria. Questo pannello è perfetto! Montato, collegato e riconosciuto senza scaricare driver. Tutte le porte funzionano benissimo. Forse l'unico neo è il costo ma non ho trovato alternative a ciò che mi serviva.

First I will tell you about the product. This product was shipped from United States so it took little long to reach here. But unfortunately the product I received was a damaged one. Also I don't think this product worth ₹8,000+/-. So instead of replacement I apply for refund. Blumaple team was very supportive I got the product refunded after a week. In short there service is good, but I don't recommend this particular product. Once again I thank the Blumaple Seller Service team.
