Kotobukiya Metal Gear Solid: Sniper Wolf Bishoujo Statue

Excellent 5 stars, great figure. Arrived in shipping box, no damage.

I'll start with saying the figure is beautiful overall. This is rerelease so it has more of the older bishoujo style. One being more revealing which has been sorly lacking in most of the newer releases with some exceptions. And another being the scale is a bit bigger compared to newer releases that seem to be a bit smaller. My most recent purchase before this Sadako definitely feels smaller that it should be, even taking into account the pose. Her face is really pretty with a nice blue eye. Her uniform and fox hound emblem look good. The crate she is sitting on is open and completely hollow underneath but looks fine and does the job. The wolf cub is really cute and looks great. The rifle is detailed and looks great and the ammo box is fine. Now as far as issues I do have somewhat minor gripes. The first is the anatomy feels a bit off. The area from the bottom of the neck to the chest seems too long/spaced apart. The chest seems a good bit lower than it should be. That being said maybe it's just the pose giving that illusion. The second being the hair which color wise looks nothing like the product photos. In the photos the hair looks blonde with green tint. In reality it's green with a minor blond tint more so towards the ends where it's more clear plastic. If I take a photo with a flash on it looks a little bit closer to the product pictures but it's still more green dominant. In regular light it looks green, same color as the lipstick. This could however be something that varies between copies because I seen videos where it looks similar to mine and yet I have seen a few where it looks dirty blonde, but that could also be depending on the camera and lighting set up they are using. Maybe I just got one that was painted a little too green, but either way it's something to keep in mind if you purchase. And lastly is that everything isn't all done together for the base. I greatly prefer to have the character and base to all be one piece or at least have the character peg into a complete base. As is the crate, gun, and ammo box are all separate floating pieces. The rifle could be an issue if you bump the shelf and it falls out of the hand and hits the figure as it's just resting and being held up by her thumb. Thus It could potentially break or possibly leave paint on the figure. Just setting it up and getting it into position I had it fall on the figure at least twice. All that being said it's a beautiful figure and easily worth the price. Just be mindful of the gun, as well as the laces on her boot which could easily break.
