My daughter is blind & has mild cerebral palsy. She quickly figured out how to attach the handle with my verbal instructions & really loves the leverage it gives her while getting in & out of our car. Bought Vive’s model because a) it’s a great brand & b) the part that attaches to the door is designed not to scratch the car’s paint, unlike other brands made of metal. It’s solid, heavy & durable. My daughter also really loves how the handle makes a clicking sound when it attaches to the lock loop, so she knows when it’s secure enough to use. Definitely worth the extra money. These are so helpful. My husband just left the hospital and was quite weak. I snapped the device into the door jamb, and it gave him the support he needed to get in and out of the car. Much more secure and convenient than trying to place a cane on the ground outside the car door. Thimbs up!

Importantísimo tener en cuenta que el usuario tenga fuerza y control en la mano-brazo con el que la va a utilizar. Mano derecha para subir y bajar por la puerta derecha, y viceversa.

This is really helpful, was a little worried as it says fits 99% of cars and some folks have found it does not fit their car, luckily this fits my Toyota Corolla TS 2022 so am very happy, and it works a treat, easy to fit into the door catch, is very stable and allows a good strong grip, and also easy to remove again. It is nice it is fully covered so do not have to worry about any potential scratches to the paintwork/metalwork. Highly recommend and hopefully it will fit your car too.
