I have older Bose quiet comfort headphones and was experiencing wire failure, right or left ear sound cutting off. I went to Bose website but did not find a replacement part. This part fit my Bose headphones perfectly and works like new. Thank you.

Junk. Failed in just over a month of light use. Waste of time and money. Very disappointed.

Amending my review. I thought the cable had failed After a few months but that was incorrect. The cable is fine and a suitable replacement.

Audio Cables for older Bose Headsets are getting harder to find, so I bought two of these, thinking they would work like regular Bose audio cables. I was wrong. They fit the plug sockets well, and I can hear audio out of both ear phones, but only at about 50% of the volume of the cable they are replacing. There's got to be something wrong with them. I tested both of them and they are both the same - reduced volume. I also tested the old cable, and it still gets the expected volume. I'm not going to return these because (a) it's too much hassle to do a return; and (b) I can boost the computer volume so at least I can HEAR the audio ... but I am NOT HAPPY with these cables. Two stars because they fit and work, but no more than that because of the volume defect.
