This thermal camera feels like unlocking a hidden layer of reality. Works well at identifying hot/cold areas. Responds to changes in temp quite quickly - there's a noticeable delay but it's maybe about a quarter second so not a problem for me. I was worried that the heat sensing display wouldn't be very have the resolution but while it wasn't high res it was good enough to make out electrical cables from around 60cm and radiator pipes from 1m. It didn't seem blotchy in any of the modes and was good enough for me. I was hoping it might help me find the source of some drafts in the room, it did show up some cold spots around the floor but I'm not totally convinced they're the source. I didn't expect it to be able to show up drafts so I'm not knocking points off for that but just be aware. Battery life seems good, I've not needed to use it for long periods though. I used it continuously for maybe 2 hours on and off and the battery still showed full. It's handy having a digital readout of the current centre spot temperature but as this model doesn't have a pointer it's not too easy to be sure what it's pointing at. The temperature is shown in white in the top corner and can often get difficult to read when the background is a light colour. You can switch colour modes with a button which sometimes helps. I'm not sure how accurate it is but I think it's at least good enough for relative comparisons. Overall for my purposes it's quite expensive but for the right purpose I think it does the job well.

As a heater engineer its a good camera. My only criticism is the writing on the screen is white and doesn't show up well against a hot picture. Maybe the text can't be changed in the settings. But for the price im very pleased. I work for a company who doesn't provide tools etc. This camera is a good price when you consider the price of known brands of thermal camera. It has made identify issues easier, such as pipe runs in floors and walls

This is a functional thermal imaging camera to use around the house. My purchase was driven by the need to balance the heating in a home I had just purchased, so I have been mainly pointing it at radiators and pipe work. So far it has done everything I've needed. The key thing to note is that this has a 128x128 resolution (as documented in the detailed description), not the 240x240 resolution (as shown in the title text). This is a non-issue for my usage, but could be a problem for anyone dependent on fine detail results. Overall, you get what you pay for, and at the time of purchase, this device met my needs at a nice price.

I nhave looked at a few cheaper models, but the Topodon has the best featgures for the price. Screen is nice and clear and it seems to be very accurate, so should be great for seeing where the house is losing heat around doors and windows, etc. Also good for checking if the radiators have any cold spots... I have also used it for checking for overheating components of faulty PCB;s and it also does the job. I have bought Topdon products in the past and they have always been reliable and well made, with great after sales care.

TLDR: Great little thermal camera with well rounded feature set and inbuilt storage. I got this camera to deal with the ongoing problems with the RTX 4090/RTX 5090 graphics card cable burning/melting issues and it does the job great for my RTX 3090 atm for making sure those electrical fires are not humming away in the background. I also found it very useful for finding the cold spots in the house and figuring out why mould was growing in certain spots in my flat and well you can see for yourself certain corners get very cold which is perfect for moisture and mould growth! Pros: - Decent native resolution for the price 128 x 128 pixels, up sampled to 240 x 240 to help you see with a bit more clarity. - Auto-adjustment of temperature range (almost instantaneous) and finding min/max points (1 second) is fast and consistent. - Onboard storage is great with 480 mb enough for roughly 5000ish photos on the device that you can access by plugging in the USB cable to your computer. - Easy to use simply turn on and go. All settings are easily available via the OK button. - Good frame rate not jittery or laggy with the 25 hz setup. - Very fast wake times from idle (instant) and decently speed start up time from cold start (7 seconds-ish). Cons: - A native 240x240 or similar rez would be lovely but they cost around double the price of this unit typically so understandable it isn’t. If looking at other brands be wary as some are 96x96 or smaller up sampled to 240x240. You want as much native pixels as possible!

This instrument works rather well. It shows you the maximum temperature on the screen, the minimum temperature, and the temperature at the center of the screen. I don't have any way of verifying the temperature but the numbers seem reasonable for the areas scanned. Good battery life on each charge.

Dopo aver segnalato le mie esigenze specifiche, l’azienda si è immediatamente attivata proponendomi una soluzione concreta e inviandomi gratuitamente un modello superiore (TC001), dimostrando grande attenzione verso il cliente. Dopo aver ricevuto e testato il dispositivo posso confermare che le prestazioni sono nettamente migliori rispetto al modello precedente. La termocamera collegata allo smartphone sfrutta molto bene la risoluzione del display e consente di visualizzare le differenze di temperatura in modo più chiaro e dettagliato. Per il mio utilizzo specifico, cioè il rilevamento di possibili infiltrazioni d’acqua e ponti termici, il dispositivo si sta rivelando molto utile e preciso. Un plauso particolare al supporto clienti per la serietà, la disponibilità e la rapidità con cui hanno gestito la situazione. Consiglio sicuramente l’acquisto a chi ha esigenze simili di diagnostica domestica, ispezioni termiche o individuazione di infiltrazioni. Esperienza complessiva molto positiva.

La cámara está muy bien, configuración fácil y un menu muy completo. Lo unico que creo que no era nueva ya que la bolsa del cable estaba desprecintada (abierta).

Costo beneficio

works as expected, showing the heat differences so that I know where to add insulation in walls and ceiling. Knew I had cold areas but this allowed me to see exactly where. OK image quality, works for the price, and will save me money in the long run. I have rentals and this saved me money on the 1st use, as I got credit for lack of insulation.
