Cornhusker Kitchen Premium Rendered Tub 1.5lbs (Chicken Fat)

Duck fat is awesome. For some reason, local stores have been unable to stock it. Found this large tub at a better price than local.

tub came in great shape. filled up. i put this stuff on anything i can since i cannot eat beef anymore due to that stupid tick and getting alpha gal. but seriously goes on anything requiring tallow. i use it in my masa for corn tortillas. when i wrap meats from the smoker.

Delicious and easy to cook with. I use this for steaks, poultry, and fried potatoes. It adds great flavor and works well for a variety of cooking methods. Very versatile and a staple in my kitchen now.

This was not my favorite duck fat, but it did the job. Tasted good, smelled fine, perfect seal, and definitely duck fat, although it weighed less than what it said it weighed. Price was okay.

I love this stuff. Great for cooking. It's kinda thick when you pull it out of the fridge for use, so use a metal utensil to scoop it out. But it's melts nicely and cooks great. The tub lasts quite awhile. I'm only about halfway through mine. It's so much cheaper and better for you than olive oil or butter. I'm gonna keep ordering it.

I purchased this mainly for a beard balm & butter I was formulating. According to my research, Bison Tallow isn’t supposed to have a strong smell at all. Well, this is some strong smelling stuff. I made my butter at 70% BT all the way down to 18% & no amount of fragrance or Essential Oils at max allowed rates could mask the smell, I might as well have been using Wagyu tallow. I can’t see myself cooking with this, I’ve rendered way better smelling tallow from my beef brisket than this stuff.

Little more expensive than others I’ve bought but these made my ribs pop with flavor. I used SPG and smoke the pork lard until time to wrap.
