The price honestly is terrifying at times. I personally have 3 cats who love to play with cords so having the small heartattack here and there of my cats looking at this cord genuinely makes me sweat. I wish the price was much lower but this cord bundle gives a variety of ways to connect to my computer and runs amazing. I would buy it again despite it utterly destroying my wallet but it really goes run so smooth

The vive focus vision mixed with this cable offers clean visuals and no added latency but the vive hub isn't fully there. Battery life isn't going to be an issue this cable will keep the headset powered but it won't charge the battery and with display port mode Vive Hub has a tendency to give throw an error message (display port not found), no matter what port i use it doesn't fix the issue, a reboot will fix it but it will still be an issue, outside of that issue the focus vision + this cable is solid

Bought to be able to stream on displayport in 5K on my Vive Focus Vision. Worked fine for only 2 months before it stopped connecting first on displayport then even USB. There has been no physical signs of damage to the cables and my computer was up to date on all drivers and software. I was able to connect someone else's streaming kit and was working fine, so I knew there was an issue with the my streaming kit. Despite multiple email complaints to Vive about this, they put me through multiple rounds of troubleshooting and log submissions before they had me mail the streaming kit to them. I just has it returned to me with no explanation of anything they did to fix it. Still does not connect and no replacement as such even offered. DO NOT trust in Vive support as they will give you the run around without any actual resolution in hopes you simply move on.

Can get pretty confusing. Headset was crashing a few times. But once you get into a game it fixes itself. Turn WiFi on the vr off if using this.

I cannot recommend this product at this time. The Display Port connection (the whole point of this extra cable) is unstable and regularly drops out. Dig around on the internet, the official HTC forums. There are all sorts of things people are doing to try and encourage this product to work as intended. Unplug then replug in a particular order... disable internal wifi... turn all settings down to low... Why pay a premium price for 5k resolution when you must dial the settings down just to get the plug to work? There is also an issue with the cable overheating from use. We are 10 months after release, and the product still is not stable. I am uncertain whether HTC will work the bugs out before trying to dump another product on market.

sent me a used cable advertised as unused open box. Cable was full of kinks and stuff marks from use. Pretty sure prior return swapped their used cable for the new and tried to send it back.

It gets extremely hot and either mine got damaged by the heat or I missed it when I got it but the very corner of the L-shaped connector is deformed.
