Absolute lifesaver. Yes, I have drills, many drills and electric screwdrivers of many different sizes, but this is the first straight one. All my others are pistol grip. Needed something without the right angle grip, and this was the ticket. It's not the fastest, but it gets the job done. I think if it was any faster it might get away from you if you are not careful. Has plenty of torque and once it stops you can just give a quick flip of the wrist to finish off tightening the screw. Battery lasts for days on end. Its built like a tank and takes a beating/dropping/whacking like hammer as your would expect from a DeWalt. Well with the money!

if you're like me and filled with those honey do's that the wife starts and says she doesn't know how to finish, this is your best asset! Its quick, easy to use, charge lasts a long time, I used it to assemble new furniture we purchased for our home remodel, I absolutely love this thing! Wonderful tool ! Feels good in your hand and has plenty of torque power, that’s adjustable. Wish I had bought this a long time ago. USB charging is quick to recharge. Only shortfall is the rubber cap for the usb port is hard to get it to secure around the charge port. Wish it was a little slide door or something tougher.

TL;DR For medium-to-light jobs, this is great. I can recommend purchasing. I tested several brands and this one came out on top for me. It made short work of changing out all the doorknobs in my home. But I wouldn't recommend for extended use, as the ergonomics aren't perfect, fatigue will set in fairly quickly. PROS + Quality and built tough. (What you expect from DeWALT) + Comes with several bits + Looks nice. + Charging port is the more modern USB-C type + Without a pistol grip, it takes up a smaller space in my toolbox CONS - A bit heavy and bulky for more than 1 hour of continuous use, causes fatigue. - I would not recommend this for small hands, there are pistol grip styles that are more suited. - No case for drill, cable and bits, but bits do have a nice rubber organizer at least - The interface to engage and disengage is not easily controlled, takes getting used to. It's inconvenient to hold on to the device and also push up on the collar. A thumb interface would have been better.

Love this screwdriver! So easy to use, once you get the hang of it. It's not very heavy, has great power and battery life. It's adjustable so you don't over drive or strip screws. It's great for electric or any other tasks around the house.

It's a nice drill. Seems we'll balanced in my hands. I was surprised by the torque it supplied. The feature that you can break a screw, bolt or nut by twisting the unit is cool. It gives you more control overall. No assembly required. Just insert a bit, extension or adapter and you are ready to go. Size is good for my average hands. Probably need adapters and universals to get into tight places. It's DEWALT, quality tools high prices. The adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. The only caveat, you can't replace the battery. Back in the day, I had a Black and Decker that ran for over 10 years on a non-removable battery. Light duty large unit. If I get 10 years out of this DEWALT, I will feel I got my money's worth. It takes a little time to get used to operating it. It works great. But, I had to use it a bit before I appreciated the different features. Highly recommend.

Like everything DeWalt, this is a well made tool, but be aware that it does NOT have the "gyro" function of other similar DeWalt power screwdriver. That gyro function, which adjust direction and speed depending on how you turn it, makes it an incredibly intuitive tool. This model is just a power screwdriver, albeit with a speed control, the benefit of USB charging and a relatively easy-to-use directional control. Like one of the other reviewers, I should have returned it once I realized its limitations. Spend the extra money for the gyro version -- it's one of the best tools I have in my bag.

Great quality , works well, good bit selection, no pixie bit? Takes some getting use to and no pistol grip. Lots of torque, adjustable torque? bit change easy. Good fit in tool bag.
