Sony PS5 multimedia remote control

The PS5 media remote is a fantastic addition to the PlayStation setup. It looks great and matches the console and controller perfectly with that modern white design. I wasn’t sure about the white at first, but it’s really grown on me and it definitely looks clean and sleek. Setup is super easy, and it connects right to the PlayStation and can even control your TV’s volume and power. The battery life is good, though the included Sony batteries didn’t last super long, but that’s an easy fix—just pop in some better ones and you’re good to go. It’s comfortable to hold, minimalistic in a good way, and it basically turned my PS5 into the main media hub in the living room. Overall, it’s probably the best media remote they’ve made—super easy to use and definitely worth it.

I love this remote, does everything I need it to with my PS5 and makes watching my blu-ray and streaming services a breeze! Slim and feels nice in the hand. So much better than trying to deal with the wireless controller! It's pricey, but worth the cost. Easy to connect and stays connected to your PS5! The only downside I've experienced is the battery life is just okay, so make sure to keep some extra AA batteries around.

Overall 4/5 Stars - Functions perfectly as a replacement to the conventional controller when using the PS5 as a multimedia center. Pros: Intuitive button placement, lightweight, EASY to setup. Easy to identify as the PS5 controller due to consistent color/design scheme. Cons: No light on buttons make it difficult to use/see in the dark. Plastic backside slides easily on hard surfaces.

Use this all the time, battery seems to not last very long but I travel a lot so it might be keep turning on when in the suitcase. Capable of controlling tv using IR, easy to setup on PS5 menu. Comfortable in the hand and good quality for the money. 2 AA batteries included. Cannot control games, only media, obviously.

Definitely worth it to complete your system. Very convenient to use instead of having to use your gaming controller. Battery life is good, just turn off the remote when not in use to conserve. Also I recommend using rechargeable batteries.
