I bought this to record a verbally abusive family member but I find it a good option for recording classes and meetings.The Good:- Very simple and easy to use out of the box - Comes with all the connectors. Easy on, Easy off. Getting files is as easy as a flash memory stick- Picks up audio very well sitting on the table listening in on a Teams meeting- Lots of storage. Audio files was 1 hours 26 minutes long and the storage was 115Mb, so less than a Mb per minute.- Solid device and feels robust in case I accidently drop the recorder.The Bad:- Listening to my own voice on playback is unappealing ;)- I tried to put the .wav files into my AI chat hoping to be able to transcribe and summarize but the feature was not available for .wav files- Recording in a pocket will pick up motion on fabricConclusion: Excellent product and would be a great for recording classes, meetings, conferences or trainings where you can leave the recorder on a table. Also a great device that has lots of storage that won't suck up a lot of phone or PC storage.

Interesting item. It is not just a recorder, it is an MP3 player. I gave it to my daughter to use for singing practice. It is heavier and wider than I expected. It does not automatically pick up sound and then turn off; it is on when on and off when off, manually. I did not like this because it is hard to turn on and off. Otherwise, when I used it as a fun device, it was great. I have it stuck to the locker in my daughter's room so it doesn't get lost. She has the included headphones to listen to herself sing back. There is a little bit of a fuzzy sound in the quality, but overall, good playback. It is not totally discreet because it needs to be manually turned on and off to be used, which defeats a hidden aspect of recording. It connected fine to the computer.

When you plug it into the computer after recording, you will see a "Recorded" folder where your recordings are stored and a settings file. The settings file is just a text document and it does not control anything. You can type in the current time and 5 hours later when you open the settings file the same time is displayed. The default settings in the settings file indicate voice activation 'on'. However this device is not voice activated at all it records immediately when turning it on. The so-called time settings do not impact anything even after changing the time according to the instructions. The timestamps on your recordings will be incorrect. This is a terrible device if you are looking for something that is incognito that will only start recording when there is voice activation. You will have to fast forward for hours to get to what you want. The manufacturer is simply hoping that people will be satisfied that it at least records and won't care about the advertised functionality that clearly doesn't do not waste your time and money. The sound quality of recordings are excellent. It’s perfect size- super discreet and the magnet is very strong. It’s very easy to use, just charge it, press it to turn on and leave it. It stayed on for 24 hours straight the first time I used it without fully charging it. I plugged it in to laptop and was able to hear my audio very clearly. The voice activation is great so you don’t have a lot of extra recording to go through, only what you need. I highly recommend this item it’s great quality for the price.

This product does great recordings, however a few caveats to the the physical nature. It has a magnetized side but it is very small so doesn't really work on the back of the phone at least not a galaxy phone.There are a few connectors one for the old iPhone and then an USB-C.I don't think it's give activated however the switch seems to be easy enough when you want to review. There is a little background noise in an open area but morning to bad.Overall s good product with some enhancements it can be a great product.

I haven't even tried it yet. But have a3 star because of the back when I went to make sure it was off so I can charge it i noticed that when your putting it on off it EASILY switches to reset. I tried several times to put it in off and it would stay on (I know because the indicator light is still on) or would go to reset. I bought this to record extremely important church meetings. And now I'm afraid I'll reset it and loose everything when trying to turn it off so I can connect it to the computer! Therefore, this will not work for me at all!!! I'll have to run and buy another one right away. I wonder if I should've given a lower rating than 3 stars. This is the worse rating I've ever given on Amazon smh

The Elasound 132G mini sound recorder is an amazing little unit. Quite small, but very powerful. The description says that it has 9600 hours of recording time. That's a crazy amount. I don't think I will ever be able to fill this baby up. Very easy to use. Just turn the switch to "On" and it starts recording. You can set it to Voice Activated Recording, or Continuous Recording.Great for lectures, conferences, concerts, recitals, or wherever you want to record speech or sound. It also has a magnetic base so that you can attach it to metal objects and let it record without having to hold onto it.Long battery life as well. It touts 70 hours of recording time. With that capacity, you don't have to worry about the battery going dead in the middle of your concert, unless that is you forget to charge it ahead of time. :DYou can either copy your recorded files from the device onto you computer in order to play them on your computer, or you can play them directly from the sound recorder.You can also use it as an MP3 player. Just load your music files, or what ever MP3 or WAV files you want, from your computer onto this device, and you can carry it wherever you want and listen to music with either earbuds or plug it into your stereo to play music.
