Super bit of kit! Bought it because it was cheap, a throw away necessity. It's turned out to be a hardworking reliable little friend. It's done a complete house renovation!! Sanded back all the walls, ceilings, bare plaster, paint. And most recently calked into action on a large parquet floor! You name it, I've not been kind to it either. It failed to 'orbit' on one occasion. A quick strip down revealed a dust and grit packed bearing, absolutely my fault... Cleaned out, regreased, and back into action. Buy quality abrasives, as you should. So impressed. This little fella has done HOURS of hard work. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

Much better than cheerful for a cheap orbital sander. For a mere £24.99 this far exceeded expectations. The unit arrives with a pack of different grade sanding disks to get you started too. The dust collector works reasonably well and was surprisingly full when I emptied it. It certainly cut down the amount of dust flying around albeit their was still some limited amount around. I had no trouble with the dust collector falling off and it seemed a fairly tight fit although others had problems with it falling off. I don't mind a corded unit although the cord is not particularly long and you'll probably need an extension cable. I found the fast speed setting far too rapid and used either speed 1 or 2. Note, you have to switch the sander off before you change the speed setting. Make sure you align the holes on the sanding sheet with those of the sander otherwise the vacuum cleaning dust collector will not work. Overall, a cheap simple machine that sands things down just fine. As for it's longevity, I can't comment as I've only used it for about an hour.

Fantastic but if kit for the price. I’ve always wanted an orbital and this ticks the box for the price. It’s not too loud and you get enough pads to start you off. It’s a great size and has been my go too sander for most jobs. Simple to use and 6 speed levels makes it’s simple to use. The finish we’ve achieved has been outstanding.

Good sander, but the dust collection bag has to be the most flimsy useless thing known to man

I am absolutely delighted with this Dekopro 300W orbital sander. I bought it to tackle a few DIY and upcycling projects around the house and garden, and it has made the job so much faster and easier than doing it by hand. The 300W motor packs a serious punch for its size. It strips back old paint, varnish, and rough wood effortlessly, leaving a beautifully smooth, flat finish. Despite the power, it is surprisingly lightweight and ergonomically designed, fitting comfortably in the palm of your hand so you can use it for longer periods without your wrist getting tired. The dust extraction system also works brilliantly, collecting the vast majority of the debris into the attached box and keeping the workspace remarkably clean. Swapping out the sanding sheets is quick and easy thanks to the hook-and-loop base, which holds the paper firmly in place with no slipping. For the price, the build quality and performance are outstanding it is a reliable, hard-working little tool that I highly recommend!

At first I thought this was a good item seemed to work well as I was sanding back my staircase until the third day when it started slowing down and a burning smell started to come from it it was then unplugged and disposed of. Absolute garbage don’t waste your money

Easy to use and works well

Not a big review writer but I felt that this product warranted one. I was very surprised by the quality. I had a project waiting for it and I was not disappointed. Lightweight and sturdy, easy to use and worked like a charm. Dust collection chamber very effective and easy to empty. Even at a much higher price this would have been worth it.

La regolazione della velocità è comoda perché permette di adattare il funzionamento al tipo di lavorazione e alla superficie su cui si sta intervenendo. L’impugnatura consente di lavorare con un buon controllo della macchina e la possibilità di utilizzare dischi diversi la rende abbastanza versatile per vari lavori di levigatura. Nel complesso sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto: una macchina funzionale, semplice da utilizzare e con un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo per un utilizzo non professionale.

Palm sander works as described, used it for one hour . No problems , the adjustable speed works very good. A little vibration ( that was expected with a top speed setting ) overall a very decent item . The hook/ loop backing was excellent at keeping the sand paper in place ( never shifted ) and l suggest wearing hearing protection & safety glasses when in use. Only negative is the dust collector came off a few times during sanding ( no big deal ) add a small piece of duct tape on it to prevent this if you like. Overall a splendid tool to add if you don't have a 5 inch round sander.
