Some reviews state there was a problem with the batches a few months ago. Has the problem been resolved? is the stevia sweetening the beverages?

We have not purchased Sweetleaf Stevia Packets since we encountered the "not sweet" batches, but we did call the customer service number on the back of the box to lodge a complaint. As a result the company sent us some replacement boxes and those packets were sweet just like we had previously known. We would use this product again since it seems like they fixed the problem.

Is this sourced in China

From SweetLeaf.com SweetLeaf Stevia Sweetener uses only organic stevia leaves. Currently, the only source of organic leaves and processing comes from China. No other place in the world has the capacity to extract and meet the USDA or EU standard for organic foods. SweetLeaf works very closely with the manufacturer to ensure every lot is up to standards and is tested to ensure the highest quality product.

Does that mean there are 140 packets? (2 boxes of 70 count) Or does it mean 2 35 box packets for a total of 70 packets? The answers aren't clear.
