I ordered this for my 13 year old grandson who love to play music on different instruments. This is the best thing! He loves it. It makes the coolest sounds. I think it would be great for any age. It is made of very good quality material, it is kind of small so portability is awesome. You can travel with it or just take it in the car for the kids. Great item!

I bought this steel drum for a gift for my college age granddaughter. She loves to sing and I thought she would love learning to play this with her Bible study friends . It is not too heavy for her and it comes in a nice carrying bag, for easy transport. I can see how it would be a lovely edition to a camping trip or picnic too. The sound is like an expensive wind chime. This is a good one. Especially for the price point.

I LOVE THIS DRUM!! The quality is amazing, the sound is so pretty, all the accessories that come with it are great! We keep ours on our coffee table and EVERY person who walks by it plays it, multiple times a day, its so fun and so calming! I've also put it outside in the rain and its so peaceful to listen to the rain hit! Highly recommend for anyone!

My wife loves the sound of this when the rain falls on it. It appears to be decent quality. We will see how well it performs in the long run.

The steel tongue drum is not annoying and pleasant to listen to. Kids will have a lot of fun with it.
