Philips Original Replacement Filter for 2-in-1 Air Purifier and Humidifier 3400 Series AC3420 and AC3421, HEPA NanoProtect + Active Carbon, 12 Months Lifetime, Black/White (FY3400/30)

I’ve been using the Philips Air Purifier 3200 Series for a few weeks now and I am very impressed. The air in my home feels noticeably fresher and cleaner. It runs quietly even on higher settings and the design looks modern and elegant. The HEPA NanoProtect filter works really well, especially for dust and allergies. I also like how easy it is to use and how clearly it shows the air quality level. It’s a great product from Philips and definitely worth the price.

9 months daily continous use at night in bedroom. No performance decline. I like the auto settings. Boost at bedtime and in the morning. Can easily adjust desired humity level to how I like it. Counterbalances very well the dryness and dust from heating. No more blocked nose in the morning. Fan noise in sleep mode is almost silent. Yes, requires water refill every 2-3 days, takes 2 mins. Not really a mobile unit, keep it where you need it. App is fine, easy to use if you spend 10 mins to learn it. Can connect with Siri etc. I am glad I bought it.

An excellent product. Quiet, compact and very effective at removing particles from the air over a large area. Useful app provides a wide range of options to tailor operation of the purifier to meet individual requirements.

I read a lot of reviews of air purifiers when choosing this, and it's been pretty good so far, but not quite as good as I was hoping with dust removal - still getting a thick layer of dust in the same room even after several months, but the self-reported air quality has improved drastically since it was first switched on. The smart features/app functionality are reasonably good, but the alert that the filter needs vacuuming is I think based on a timer rather than a sensor; hence it is often quite clean when removed. This leads to us ignoring the reminder. Noise level is good - very quiet on automatic mode. Overall I am unsure of overall value for money but will see how it goes over the longer term. The biggest contributor to high PM 2.5 seems to be any sort of frying, which immediately raises the level to 500+! Quite the eye-opener.

Great device and u you feel it working. Doesn't throw unexcesary amounts of moisture into the air and because of its vapour technology you cannot see the mist. For a double appliance in one I would say it is worth it.

I bought this originally to put next to some 3D printers to control the smell and emissions, which it did well. It however soon got moved to downstairs and happily cleans our daily air. Quiet enough, the app works well and tells me all I need to know. Cleaning the filters is easy enough. This was a pricey bit of kit compared to the other available air purifiers out there right now, however I went with a brand I know and have no regrets at all in this purchase. Would happily recommend to family and friends and I have.

Whilst this machine is very quiet and easy to use, on unpacking it absolutely reaked of chemicals and something like artificial rubber. It was so bad that my son, who I had bought it for as he has asthma and chemical allergies, had to retire to bed after taking emergency medication for his asthma. He now cannot go in the room in which it is 'purifying' the air. I wiped the machine down with a damp cloth inside and out but with little effect, a dilute solution of isopropyl alcohol worked better but are still noxious chemicals trapped in the filters and the parts of the machine I cannot get to. I do think Philips should take a bit of care over how their products are made and especially how they are packed, I suspect (hope) the issue is with the the plastic foam bag the unit was packaged in plus the bags the filters were wrapped in. It is pointless designing and manufacturing a good air purifier of it is then packaged in noxious chemicals for delivery. If we had not got the space to run the thing for a few days it would have been returned immediately s not fit for purpose. Currently it is contaminating the air in the room in which it is running.
