Title arrived before the motorcycle and the motorcycle was delivered on the estimated date. Everything complete and no damage. I have a 2023 Honda XR150L and bought this bike for my kid. It is an almost identical motorcycle but the X-Pect has way more features for half the price. Plus, it already has the 200cc cylinder (most people swap the XR150 stock cylinder). As soon as we had it together, I fired it up to make sure it worked. Absolutely perfect. Before riding it, we changed the oil, but didn’t do any other preventative maintenance. It runs smooth, shifts amazing, all accessories work right. It rubs salt in the wound because I know the Honda XR150 is a ripoff for what it is and the X-Pect 200 delivers so much more for a decent price. I guess time will tell if this thing is actually great or not. We are the ideal home for a bike that maaaaybe will need more frequent repairs due to quality. My Honda blew its rings at 200 miles and had to have the top off. Dealer refused to warranty it and I spent 1.5 years in a lawsuit to get $2000 from them. So, at least with the cheap Amazon bike, we know we are on our own from the start and wont waste any time asking for help.

Took about an hour to unpack the bike, and about three hours to assemble the first one, half that time to assemble the second one for my brother. Both bikes started without any effort and ran well. Not quite as smooth running as a Japanese bike, but not broken in yet either. Amazing deal, worth every penny, would recommend to anyone on a budget. Great looking bike, cheap and easy to title and insure -$150 total in Colorado. Paperwork comes separate from bike a few days later. Perfect motorcycle for shorter riders, 5’6” and fits like a glove.

This bike is absolutely incredible for the money. Mine arrived with some shipping damage, but the seller was responsive and worked with me to get replacement parts, which made the situation right in the end. That said, prospective buyers should understand what they’re getting into. Most motorcycle shops won’t work on Chinese bikes, so you should be comfortable handling at least basic maintenance and repairs yourself. Also, since replacement parts typically come through Lifan dealers, expect longer wait times if you need something specific. I’ve had a few minor issues where I could not find parts but was able to make do using generic alternatives. Be prepared to think outside the box, and improvise with repairs. This isn’t a take it to the dealer and pick it up ready to ride situation. You will get your hands dirty and snap a few cheap bolts, but it’s great to learn on. Pros: * Excellent value for the price * Easy to work on, even for beginners * Lightweight and confidence-inspiring * Low seat height compared to many dual sports * Straightforward to title and insure * Generally considered one of the better-quality Chinese motorcycle brands * Has been reliable so far Cons: * The metal and finish quality are not on par with Japanese bikes; some parts dent and rust fairly easily * Styling is dated and hasn’t been refreshed in years * State sales tax was not itemized on my receipt, which resulted in me paying tax again when registering the bike (this is not a Lifan/x pro issue just a quirk with buying a motorcycle direct instead of through a dealership) Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable dual sport and don’t mind turning a wrench occasionally, it’s hard to beat the value. Just go in with realistic expectations regarding parts availability, dealer support, and overall fit and finish.
