Great for all of my small business needs

Ordered 2 The computers were advertised to include a lifetime Microsoft Office subscription. Upon using, instructions on the box were followed. Until recently all was going well. Within the last few days, it started asking for a sign in. I am guessing it will shortly shut down. The instruction on the box also says to contact Amazon if there are any problems with Microsoft Office. No help from amazon

I've had HP products before and have always been pleased with them. The only negative about this one, is the battery doesn't stay charged long. Setup was easy, and got a good deal price wise. Its a bit smaller than my old laptop, but I'm ok with that. I knew that when I ordered it. I find it suitable for my needs.

Exactly what I needed.

My 2013-era iMac was too old to accept new operating systems and browser upgrades, so it was time to head back to Windows machines. I saw this machine on Amazon, and it offered me what I wanted. I loved the lifetime Office 365 products (although I don't trust that to be true -- I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, but so far, so good). The setup was very fast and easy, which was nice. The screen works well. It can't touch the beauty of my iMac (the one thing Apple certainly did right), but it's OK. But the one thing that really troubles me about this unit is the tinny, cheap-sounding built-in speaker. I guess they had to make some tradeoffs to hit this price point, but I will definitely be hooking up an external speaker. It is literally the worst I've heard on a laptop in years, if ever. It's possible that I may have a setting wrong, but come on, this should be pretty well set up out of the box. Anyway, I'm still transferring files from my old iMac, which I will donate to someone who has an even older Mac... Happy Holidays, everyone! UPDATE: 12/22/24. Got another issue with this machine. The wireless is extremely slow. I have 1 GB up and down at Verizon. When I connect directly to the network via cable, I get that. When I use the internal wireless, I only get 225 download and 100 upload. Usually, OK but not great.

I would not recommend purchasing this laptop. I purchased this laptop, but it’s not as described. The laptop appears to have been upgraded to match the seller's description, but the box it came in tells a different story. The original specifications on the box were covered with marker marks and stickers. Upon removing the sticker, it revealed the actual specifications: 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. This is inconsistent with the description, which claimed 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage. This is a deceptive practice by the seller to mislead buyers. Office Lifetime License also not true.

I have an older dell i5 with 8gb of ram that is twice as fast as this newer model. Is something wrong with it?

This laptop advertises "lifetime Microsoft Office." This isn't true. After spending much time with Amazon service, I was told that it was sold through a third party and my only option was to buy Microsoft 365 or return the laptop.
