A very fun auctiob game. Easy and fast to learn. My friend said it is too easy. But that's in the surface. After a few plays you'll see there are all sort of strategies in figuring out the best bid for a lot, of if passing is better. Great game for people to use as a step up to more complex amd serious euro style, less luck, games.

We are avid board gamers and really enjoy this game. It's on the lighter side and is a good gateway game for the casual board gamer. If you enjoy heavier games this may not be the game for you.

Knizia's Medici is considered one of his best designed games. This version is well made and excellent. The only downside is the colour scheme of yellow/orange is too close to one another.

Medici is a bidding game where players attempt to fill their renaissance era ship with goods. It is fast with a four person game lasting less than an hour. It has simple rules yet rewards skillful play. The downside of Medici is you need 4-6 people to play the game. A two-three person game is not very good since the bidding tension is the heart of the game.
