The Tiny Laptop That Could - More Versatile Than An iPad
So, I don't usually write reviews on things, but I've just got to share my thoughts on this little wonder. Part 1: The Machine The outer enclosure is made of metal, feels almost like a MacBook in the hands, the hinge is solid and the pivot doesn't feel flimsy when you rotate it. It feels like it'll last years of use. It's also quite dense too. It's very portable. It's hard to really show on camera, but this thing is small, not much larger then a portable DVD drive or game controller. I'm able to fit it in my sidebag no problem. Every single friend, family member or coworker I show this thing, their first reaction is "oh that's so cute!" 2: Performance I wasn't expecting anything too crazy, the CPU is a Celeron-class Intel chip from 2023, so I wasn't expecting magic, but it holds up well. Rarely does the device feel "slow" though don't expect to be playing anything crazy demanding on it. It'll emulate N64 and PS1 games fullspeed just fine, if that helps. Graphics chip nothing to write home about, just Integrated Intel, though the only main issue I have with the chip is there's no HyperThreading, which is shocking for a chip from just a few years ago. The system itself does get quite warm under heavy load, but for how small it, and the performance it delivers, it's perfectly fine. There's an actual fan inside, no passive cooling like a fanless MacBook Air. 3: The Screen. The screen is quite nice! It's only 1280x800, but for an 8 inch screen the DPI is quite high. The touch is responsive and the included active stylus pen works well, though the calibration seems to be ever so slightly off on my unit. It's plenty bright for most cases, just don't use it in direct sunlight. 4: Ports The little laptop that could has exactly 5 ports on it, USB-C, USB-A 3, HDMI, Ethernet, and an Audio Jack + Input. Would a microSD Card reader have been nice? Yes, but, I'm plenty pleased that a PC this small has built in Ethernet. I have a 15 inch laptop that doesn't and I think it should be mandatory. The system also came with a free USB-A 4 Port hub, though despite the ports being blue, it's only USB 2.0. It's free so I can't complain. 5: Keyboard (and Mouse) Oh the keyboard. It's...something. It's not bad, but if you're like me and can touch type pretty well, this might throw you off. I wouldn't say it's unusable, i was able to adapt pretty easily, but you do basically need to look at the keyboard to use it. My only true gripe with the keyboard is that the power button is a keyboard key, just above a small backspace, so it's quite easy to hit on accident. The mouse is fine. It's not super difficult to use, if you treat it like a trackball you'll be fine, though the click buttons are the same type of buttons as the keyboard keys, so it's got a lip you need to work around if you're using your thumb to press the clicks. 6: Sound. The speakers are pretty sad. They're not unlistenable, but they don't get super loud, and at max volume they distort noticably, though that's too be expected for what small drivers they had to shove into this thing. At least the sound vents are on top instead of on the bottom of the machine. Better to plumb it into a sound system or use headphones. Also, the battery life is not great. I've had mixed results with my unit, but I've averaged a solid 5-6 hours just watching YouTube. Keep a charger nearby. So should you buy this thing? Well, if you're looking for a laptop that will fit in a satchel bag, a tablet that has a built in keyboard and can run full PhotoShop, or a tiny PC to keep hooked up to your HiFi with your MP3 collection, then i say YES! It's cheaper then an iPad + Magic Keyboard, plus you can run actual Windows (or Linux) on it! The Short Version: It's a good little laptop-tablet thing, with a free pen. Screen's good, performance is good, it's good. Only issues are the speakers, somewhat cramped keyboard, and battery life is not great.

Compact Mini Laptop with Detachable Keyboard – Great Portable Workstation
I bought this as a portable mini laptop for on-the-go work, and it’s honestly been a really solid addition to my setup. Right away, I was impressed with the ultra-compact design. It’s small enough to fit just about anywhere, but still feels sturdy and well-built—not flimsy like some mini computers. The detachable keyboard clicks in securely and turns it into a functional little 2-in-1 laptop, which makes it super versatile. One of my favorite things is how easy it is to create a clean, minimal desk setup with this. In my setup, I paired it with a wireless mouse, and it instantly feels like a tiny workstation without taking up much space at all. Great for small desks, travel, or even keeping a secondary workstation. The connectivity is a big plus too—you can see it supports external cables/accessories, which makes it easy to hook up peripherals or expand your setup when needed. Performance-wise, this is ideal for: Web browsing Emails & admin work Light productivity Basic photo sorting or organization It’s not meant for heavy-duty editing or high-performance tasks, but for everyday use it does exactly what you’d expect from a mini laptop like this. A few things to keep in mind: The screen is quite small, so if you’re doing detailed work, you may want an external monitor The keyboard is usable, but a bit tight for long typing sessions Best used as a secondary or travel computer, not a full desktop replacement Overall, this is a great choice if you’re looking for a portable computer, mini laptop, or compact 2-in-1 device that’s functional, clean, and easy to integrate into your workspace. Definitely a niche product—but if this is what you’re looking for, it delivers 👍

Compact and reliable mini-laptop
I was looking for a small laptop to run Karaoke software at parties and other events. I looked at several different mini-PCs in the $300-$600 range, and decided to see if this one would fit my needs. Other machines were either too large, didn’t have a keyboard, or were too expensive. This machine looked like it was the perfect combination of features that I needed and the portability that I desired, at a great price point. This little laptop exceeded my expectations. While it has about the same footprint as my iPad Mini (though a bit thicker), it runs Windows 11 Pro with impressive stability. I purchased the model with 512GB storage, and with 12GB of RAM it handles everyday tasks like browsing, emails, and light work effortlessly. I found the 1280x800 display to be crisp and the touchscreen is responsive. The machine feels solid, durable, and well-built for such a compact device. The extra thickness is put to good use, providing a full size ethernet port and HDMI output in addition to the standard USB-C, USB-A, and headphone jacks. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 11, and despite costing 2.5 times more it doesn’t have ethernet, HDMI, USB-A, or a headphone jack . The keyboard is understandably small, but it’s easy to adjust to, and the battery life is reliable enough for on‑the‑go use. I can slip it into my bag and work anywhere. While it’s not designed for heavy gaming or intensive video editing, it’s perfect as a travel companion or backup laptop — definitely worth a 5‑star rating. Performance has been consistently smooth. The N150 CPU paired with Windows 11 Pro handles multitasking well, whether I’m checking email, watching videos, or surfing the web. I haven’t had a chance yet to connect it to my karaoke setup, but I did connect my Sony XM6 headphones and listened to music for a few hours. As expected, the Bluetooth connection was flawless and the sound was immersive. The rotatable touchscreen is a standout feature — switching into tablet mode feels natural, and it’s ideal for jotting down quick notes or doing a quick drawing. I’ve also used the USB-C port to connect a 4k monitor, and this machine handled the dual displays without any issue. I was pleasantly surprised with the included extras – a stylus, USB Hub, HDMI cable, and even a Windows 11 Pro USB recovery drive. My Surface Pro 11 didn’t come with any of those, so these were a welcome bonus, saving me from extra purchases. For small business tasks, content work, or general portability, this mini laptop strikes the perfect balance of convenience, functionality, durability, and even good sound quality. Compact yet capable, it’s a solid choice for anyone needing a lightweight, reliable machine.

Portable, Functional, Works as a Laptop Should.
Solid 4 stars. Works just as a laptop should. The auto-rotate setting doesn't seem to work for me, which is annoying when wanting to flip the screen I have to go into settings to do so VS it automatically rotating when moving horizontal/vertical. I also didn't receive the HDMI in the box (read what's included in the product description) but did get the other listed items to be included. I've been using this mini laptop for a little over a week or 2 now and those are my only complaints.

The best pick for mini laptops!
Display is awesome for this little mini. It fit perfectly in the front pocket of my backpack through TSA. Linked well with in-flight internet. Loads super fast. Quick access to all my favorite games and apps. Battery life is better than my phone. Comes with long quick charge plug and the pen and multiple USB attachments make controlling peripherals easy. It was really easy to set up. And I am NOT super tech savvy! My favorite part by FAR though, is the FLIP SCREEN. I used this with the awesome pen, to play my games and do puzzles with. It has loads of memory space. There were so many similar mini laptops out there so it was a tough decision. But I would definitely recommend this one. And I will probably be ordering another one soon for my grandson for Christmas.

Incredible Portability for Travel
Weighing practically nothing and slipping into a small sling bag, backpack pocket, or large jacket pocket, it is the ultimate "carry everywhere" PC. It is sturdy enough for kids and students, yet sleek and functional enough for professionals needing a field device or secondary travel laptop. Finding a backlighting feature on an ultra-compact keyboard is almost unheard of at this size. The keys are well-spaced considering the compact layout, and the backlight makes late-night typing, working in dim coffee shops, or studying in dark rooms completely effortless.

GREAT Mini PC / Gaming
The family wanted a new computer. So the seach was on and on and on. We have limited space and I already have a work station set up for me to work at night. Where to put another computer? What we needed was the smallest possible computer that'll do the job. Then I found the Ultra-Portable 8-Inch Laptop – Weighing just 1.72 lbs with a compact design. We just came back from vacation that involved flying on multiple planes. This compact mini laptop fit effortlessly into my daughter's backpack. It is perfect for travel. The impressive speed and connectivity made it easy for me to get some work done while on vacation. We all need legitimate processing power, you will be pleased with this option!! Travel meant the family in some tight sleeping spaces and this computer was so quiet. This meant the kids could continue to play on the computer and not wake the sleeping adults. With travel and so many planes, trains, and automobiles came kids dropping things, including this new computer. I had that terrible feeling in my stomach when I heard that first crash. I was expecting to see a crushed computer or at least a cracked screen. THE military-grade shock absorption really did the job and saved the PC! Back at home we still had the space problem. This PC provided enefits like saving space, reducing power consumption, and offering portability for setup in various locations. They are well-suited for everyday tasks, general productivity, and even light gaming, with powerful models capable of handling more demanding creative work. The family loves the PC and I love having my dining room table back! I was also very impressed with all the accessories that came with the computer.
