beyerdynamic MMX 330 PRO Wired Open-Back Gaming Headset with Mic

sound quality is amazing, they are SUPER comfy. There is a bit of noise in the background of the mic but it is the best quality ive heard in a gaming headset. with a little noise removal or sound gate its perfectly adequate for streaming or anything like that. I would buy these again especially if there was a wireless version with a stand, oh yeah no stand so make sure you got somewhere soft to put them down or get a headstand. Delivered fast and nicely packaged.

I've had a number of gaming headsets over the years, the previous set being the Arctis Pro. I can honestly say that the MMX 330 Pro are the best so far. The spatial sound is excellent and the sound quality is superb. These sounded that good to me that I even decided to pair them with a DAC. Very pleased with these. Can see myself keeping them for a long while.

What can I say, The best wired headset on the market.Sound is bold and punchey,Less flat than my DT990'sGood stereo positioning,Pads are ok, but I recommend upgrading any beyerdynamic pads to gel ones.Mic Quality is incredible although if you have an Audio interface/ outboard gear I recommend not using PC 3.5mm jack and buy a Rode VLXR pro adapter, allowes you to connect it to XLR and steps down the 48v phantom power to 5V to power it and use it like you would a proper XLR desk mic.Sounds way better. Plus you then have direct monitoring.

Sound QualitySound quality is great but the bass is probably 50-70% of the 300s. Even when paired with my Asus Xonar Essence STX soundcard. Only way to come close to those is with an EQSize and ComfortHowever, after getting a pair of the old generation MMX 300s, I can decidedly say the MMX 330s are WAY less comfortable and much noticeably heavier. I can listen to music or watch a movie with the 300s for 5hrs without issue. I cannot even make it 2hrs before I need a break from the 330s. And these were 300s that were usedMic Quality + CableThe cable isn't so bad on the Mic and like the 300s it's probably the best quality you'll find on a headset. EVERYONE always compliments me on how great I sound, new and old friend.Biggest BenefitI honestly prefer the MMX 300s in every aspect EXCEPT in shooters. I can absolutely hear FOOTSTEPS so much better on these than I could with the MMX 300s or even other premium Open Backs like the HD600s. Much better positionalityConclusionIn sum, if shooters are a major component of your gaming life - GET these. If not, and I cannot speak for the new Stellaris versions, the MMX 300s are imo better for general listening.

The best part about this headset is it's modular design meaning you can swap parts of it if anything was to ever break.

For me this headset isn’t very comfortable, I game for hours at a time and previously had a steelseries which dealt with long sessions fine.. this one I notice the top of my head hurting after not too long. Bought an aftermarket headband to try and fix but it’s still not good.. feel like I’ve wasted the best part of £300 unfortunately.

Good quality on all games I manly play siege in high lobies can compete with these worth money tho expensive

Sadly let down by these, I wanted to move to a headset and after using the DT770's for over 10 years I thought I'd give Beyerdynamic another go with their headset offering. The mic is very quiet (no matter the gain used) and not the best sounding (granted most headsets aren't)They felt cheap especially for the price and didn't have the usual build quality I come to expect from Beyerdynamic, I had to return these and stuck with my DT770s and got a different mic solution.

Premetto dicendo che ho provato anche le mmx 300 pro e non sono molto differenti anche se ho deciso di tenere le 330 pro che sono secondo me le migliori cuffie cablate da gaming in assoluto, il primo paio mi era arrivato con microfono difettoso (è raro, ma puó capitare) invece sono felice di avergli dato una seconda possibilità, posso stare qui a scrivere un papiro sulla qualità e l’ immersione che danno queste cuffie , mi limiteró dicendo che appunto sono le migliori che abbia mai provato, se chiudo gli occhi e sparano sento di percepire persino la direzione , l’ inizio e dove va a finire quel proiettile e poi sono comodeeee , davvero COMPLIMENTI. Qualità microfono anche molto soddisfacente e rapporto qualità prezzo 9.5/10

Ik was bewust op zoek naar een open back, bedraadde headset met focus op comfort en geluidskwaliteit. De oorkussens zitten zeer aangenaam en zacht, weinig druk op het hoofd, en fenomenale geluidskwaliteit zowel voor muziek, games als films. Ik gebruik de headset zonder aparte DAC maar gebruik wel de Dolby Atmos voor Headphones plugin op Windows voor films te kijken.
