I found this kit super easy to setup with the AiDot app. The plugs enter pairing mode as soon as you plug them in, and the app detects them right away with no issues. I have a full fletched home automation system running Home Assistant in my home, but I purchased this for my parents house. First, for about $30 you get four plus and the remote. My parents are not going to be using the app or a voice assistant, so the remote is a most. I plugged in the outlets, paired them with the app, then setup the remote configuration in the app as well. Setup is impressively easy. I have one button in the remove controller three outlets at the same time, and another button the forth. My mother was so impressed she was already talking about adding more. The cool thing about this kit is that you can use the outlets with any Matter controller. That means you can set this with other home automation controllers and voice controllers as well. I am very impressed with the product and would by again.

I bought these to control Christmas Tree lights in a Church. These worked well. The remote took a little figuring out, but eventually I was able to configure it the way I wanted. The timer function works well. It was easy to add to an Alexa system for voice control.

Love these programable remote controlled plugs I use the AiDot Linnkind app, but these plugs are “Matter” certified and should perform as well with other Matter certified app’s. . They paired and perform without any difficulty

They seem to be the only smart plugs on Amazon that work with both web services and a remote control - which Is definitely a useful feature in some scenarios. HINT: I had issues getting the remote to work but they resolved after I pushed the reset button on the remote, something that I think is not emphasized enough in the minimal manual that is provided. After replacing the batteries you need push the reset button until the front LED turns on, otherwise (in my experience) the remote doesn't work. The reset button is next to the battery or you can push it by putting a needle through the little hole in the battery cover. Thankfully (and maybe surprisingly) resetting the remote does not erase the programming so you can always try it if the remote is not functioning properly. It does work with Alexa, that is how I am using it. But be aware, from what I recall it took a little time between setting it up and it actually working, and even then it was a little flaky at first but gradually got better.

The product worked great and can easily connect to iPhone. I definitely recommend getting the remote. I used it for my christmas lights to be able to turn off and on when i wanted too and i used it for a waterfountain
