These work great to relieve stress on your hands from tight screws

I have a bathtub drain that is a pop to open style. I could not get it unscrewed using vice grips. It was a flathead screw and I tried a regular screwdriver with no luck. I purchased this and the quality of Howard is made was wonderful. It has an easy to grip handle and it took literally one minute for me to unscrew a challenging bathtub drain. I would highly recommend this. It is small enough that it can be stored, but definitely a large enough flathead to be utilized for those tricky and hard to unscrew Screws.

Four stars because of the impractically thick blade. I knew from other reviews that the tip would be much too thick to fit into the slots of most screws, so I expected to have to grind it down; although honestly, it was so thick that it looked more like a child's toy than an actual tool for adults to use. Screws with slots that wide are generally much larger overall than what I was dealing with. Oh well, that's what bench grinders are for! 😁 Spent roughly five minutes grinding it down, after which it fit perfectly. I had very little clearance, and the size and configuration were exactly what I needed to apply real force to an ancient screw. The tool appears to be well made and durable. The handle is comfortable. I wouldn't mind having a set of these, even if I had to grind 'em all down!

The twist screws that hold on the lower splash shield for the engine compartment need quite a bit of torque applied to the slotted head of the dowel pins. Normal slotted screw drivers typically slip off the slot and make proper installation a chore. I'm glad I found this T Handle straight blade screwdriver. It worked like a charm. Wished I had waited till this arrived as I re-injured the tendonitis in my left wrist using standard screw drivers and trying to create enough torque to turn the screws all the way until they locked. No problem to finish the job with this screwdriver.

The blade is very thick. It is not precision machined and will not work on screws with a narrow slot. Not precision-machined. Otherwise it appears to be a solid tool.

You never want that 1/4 20 camera screw to come loose? Crank it down with this bad boy.
