The description says that this supports Bluetooth and has a long-life battery. This is patently false. The scanner is wired, there is no battery, and I don't know why the description is wrong but it is. This will scan any barcode format I have thrown at it. It just plugs in via usb and shows up as a keyboard. It's about as simple as a barcode scanner can get. When you scan something, it beeps. But, it does one job and does it well. The stand can be used but then the barcode reader must be set to continuous operation. It is described in the manual (conveniently all barcodes, while that's cute, I'd rather have an actual manual.)

For point-of-sale setups, you can secure it to a counter and scan by pressing the handle against the stand or pick it up to scan larger items. Overall, this scanner is an affordable, dependable, and straightforward choice for home use and small business needs. I recommend it for anyone looking for a no-fuss barcode scanner.
