Iron OUT Powder Rust Stain Remover, Remove and Prevent Rust Stains in Bathrooms, Kitchens, Appliances, Laundry, and Outdoors, 1 Pound 12 Ounce

I got very bad staining on clothes when I dropped a bottle of liquid Ericaceous plant food containing Sulphate of Iron. Basically, it caused a massive and impossible to remove rust stain that embedded in my clothes. I tried a cold wash immediately. Then a very hot wash. I tried Vanish and soaked them for hours. I soaked also tried soaking them in 50:50 white vinegar and water for 2-hours as one method claimed to remove rust stains. NOTHING was removing these stains. My last resort was to try 'Iron Out'. I added half a cup of the powder to the washing machine on an eco-cycle as it is longer and will allow the garments to soak for the min 5-mins contact time required. Within 1-2 minutes I had a sneaky check and the stains appeared to have had go. The first 3 pictures show the stain after 3 washes with Vanish and soaking in white vinegar and water. Both Vanish and vinegar were useless and did nothing. Last two images show after 2 washes with Iron Out. First wash 99% of stain removed. Just a very small faint stain on the jeans only in one area so I washed again and 100% stain removed. This product really works on rust stains. If you have ever got rust on your clothes or spilt plant food that contains ferrous oxide then you will know how difficult these stains are to remove.

After much research I bought this product - and I was not disappointed. For months I’ve been battling a small rust type stain at the bottom of our toilet bowl. I’ve tried almost everything to remove it, with no joy. This product removed it overnight; I wish I’d found it sooner!! Buy it, you won’t regret it.

This has only recently come onto the British market but used this in Canada for 15 years so not new but new to brits but it's great for toilet stains and cleaning drains but any iron staining is gon in a jiffy well worth the money,try it you will never use anything else

You need to use it a few times before the stain comes out, but it will work.

stained my white duvet cover when it dragged on our recently treated lawn. It was a ferrous type stain. Nothing had worked and stain looked set after I wrongly tried bleach. Soaked the stained area first in hot water with this powder for 15 mins, then washed in machine with more powder. It is fairly strong smelling so washed after with normal washing liquid. It worked where other treatments failed. Now spotless!

Bought this after my water softener stopped working one dose of this and back working fantastic

Hands down the best product on the market to remove red dirt stains from white clothes and rust stains in the kitchen. Highly recommend! For set in stains, let it sit a bit, but it will work!!

Worst ever product bought from Amazon. Spent rs. 1100 for this and a complete waste of money. Won't ever recommend anybody to buy this.can i give Zero rating?

I don't usually review stuff but this product is a 10/10 for both me, and my cleaning team. We run an airbnb in an old Victorian house on well water, and the buildup of standing water leaves dark orange stains on the porcelain and enamel toilets and sinks, as well as the shower tile and grout. Within 1 application, it worked wonders on all the toilets, the hard stains on the sink took 2 rounds, but it had been staining for a long time. I also added their tabs to the toilet basins so we'll see how long it lasts! I also used a pummel stone to help scrub the enamel and toilets and that helped. Needless to say our guests wont be complaining thinking things are "dirty" when it's just high iron in the well water.
