US keyboard, packaging pretty dire. Apart from that, it's a nice laptop.
This was a gift for the missus for Xmas. Her previous laptop was getting slow and unreliable, plus it was not compatible for a Win11 upgrade, so I elected to buy her a new one. I went for what I considered reasonable spec. I'm only recently getting into AMD processors where everything I read about Intel says they overheat. It isn't as fast as my Alienware, but then it's a 6th of the price, but it's quick enough for what she uses it for. The screen is nice and clear and a reasonable size. The laptop itself is of a reasonable weight for the spec, it's not uncomfortable to spend an hour or so with it on your lap. Everything seems quite well built and robust, nothing rattles and the lid hinges are good and tight. Where I've knocked a couple of stars off, the packaging was pretty poor. Just a shoddy cardboard box, to the point I was amazed when I opened the box and the laptop inside was in one piece. I mean, kudos for saving the planet and all that, but over half a grand of laptop deserves some foam and bubble wrap, I'd say. My second point, maybe only relevant if you're a UK buyer, and I wasn't observant enough to spot this beforehand, but the keyboard is US layout. Easiest way to spot this is there is no key between the left hand shift and the Z key. If you have a high enough resolution picture, zoom in and the "2" key has "@" on it for the shift up rather than the " quote symbol. I can cope with that, the missus is trying to get to grips with it; this is the issue with buying from a foreign seller; I didn't realise the EU follow the US with this.

Not enough RAM
8GB is NOT enough to run this laptop even after removing all the Bloatware Acer install. Lagging every few seconds so recording and video playback is impossible. Gaming is impossible... doing anytihing is impossible. The Acer Nitrosense software makes no difference. I have a £600 web browser!

Budget Bargain Laptop
I bought this laptop for writing and for use with a digital tabletop (coffee table with a tv built into it. I am super pleased with this purchase. I have bought similar laptops in the last year and had issues out of the box that ultimately lead me to returning the product. This one is a keeper. Not one issue with it to report out. The mouse pad is actually decent. I have owned a few mobile devices with mouse pads and feel this one has been the best by quite a bit. I haven't really tested the sound off of it but would always suggest external systems (speakers or headset) for the best quality of sound. This device has stayed at a reasonable temperature without the need for a cooling pad. The screen has a very reasonable quality. You get exactly what you are paying for. If I had a complaint it would be more with Microsoft making their software behind a pay wall.

Budget Friendly Good Gamer Laptop
I have to update my feedback on this laptop; I bought this on November 2025 and now January 2026 this laptop its shutting down continuously while playing occasional games like AOE III on Xbox app. (I updated all drivers and use the best air flow putting the laptop in a high open place) nothing works. I'm waiting for customer support to fix this, I'm out of USA and I need a solution for this, this is not normal on a brand-new laptop. According to other user it could be the motherboard faulty or something with hardware, everything else on software was updated as requested and the Event Viewer said it's always a Kernel Power failure. *(this was my first review) I can say this is a pretty solid laptop for people who is looking for a budget friendly laptop. The only think you already know is update the RAM to 32 and you’ll be ready to go, update the drivers and you won’t get any black screens. I have been using it for a month so, we ll see in the far future but I think it's going to be alright. Fans are not as noisy as other people report even after setting as Performance instead of Balance. Anyways I love It so far so good.

If you buy this to play games make sure you are ready to upgrade the ram to atleast 16gb
This pc had good specs especially for the price I paid for it at the time, but one thing I would say is it is unusable on almost any semi-modern game with 8 GB of ram which makes it very easy to add another 8GB stick and I think only had a cost of about $20. Just make sure you order that along with the laptop if you are purchasing the same model I did and that you get the correct model as laptop RAM is less universal than desktop RAM from what I have seen
