Some changes from Tank T3 Ultra but mostly the same
I had previously bought the Kospet Tank T3 ultra and had a positive experience with it. Consequently, when they announced the new model, I decided to try it out and see if there were improvements. Here are the pros and cons and improvements. Observations: 1. Both models have outstanding hardware. -The screen is bright and clear and readable in sunlight. -The battery life is outstanding: I don't have the always on display turned on, but have a lot of notifications, some alarms and continuous heart rate, blood oxygen and blood pressure monitoring turned on. I also use the bluetooth calling quite frequently to make and answer phone calls. For the Ultra I routinely get 15 to 20 days before the battery life drops to 25 to 30% and I charge it again. The Ultra 2 battery is at 97% today 28 hours after it was charged so it is on track to deliver the same battery life. (Update - it is at 90% now after 3 days) -Bluetooth calling works well: the audio is clear on both sides and I can manage to do a call while walking home from work or in other settings - Resting heart rate: on Ultra it matched my polar chest strap exactly. Only ultra 2 it is almost 5 points higher Exercise Heart rate: on Ultra it generated some very high numbers that were unrealistic. Ultra 2 seems to have fixed this, but for both the time patterns and the values are noisy compared to a Polar chest strap. I think Kospet still needs to improve their smoothing algorithm for the raw data that is coming in to get better heart rate estimates. - Blood Oxygen seems to work on both Ultra and Ultra 2matching other devices althought sometimes it generates a ridiculous number - Blood Pressure: On both Ultra and Ultra 2 the numbers do not match a cuff device. It is possible that the departures from the average true value are similar but it is not easy to assess this. Other watches allow a manual calibration by allowing the user to enter and store the value from a blood pressure device and then calibrating to those numbers. I get very good results from watches (e.g., E500) that have this feature - after sufficient data has been added. Kospet needs to upgrade the software to add this feature. Notifications: generally seem to work from most apps, but are not always coming through for Samsung messages. Also I get things lie 5 messages from yahoo mail but no details. The message length is also limited, which is ok. This is still an area where improvements will be welcome. GPS: works very well on both Ultra and Ultra 2 Exercises: Large choice and some are auto detected but I have turned this off. Mostly useful to track heart rate, but since that is not very accurate until they improve the algorithm, I have the auto feature turned off. I think the heart rate/exercise numbers are probably ok for comparison of what you did from day to day, but they will not match a professional sensor. Watch Faces; My favorite watch face on the ultra had a call and a notification button, so you could quickly get to these functions and the other metrics were nicely and clearly displayed. Apparently this has been removed for Ultra 2. I communicated with Kospet and they will look into making it available but it was surprising that they took the most useful watchface and removed it. I think all the ones they have now are not active - i.e. there is nothing you can touch on the screen to activate a function. Perhaps that was the design choice, but it is not a good one. They were responsive with updates on Ultra so we will see if that happens on Ultra 2. Alarms: The alarms are loud and audio -- that is good, but a vibration (strong) only option would be good to have too so others are not bothered. This is a feature they need to add. The notifications have a vibration feature, but even at the "strong" option it is hard to feel in Ultra 2. It was stronger in Ultra. Third party connections: Only STrave is offered. Others offered Google Fit etc. Voice Assistant: I have never been able to make it work on Ultra or Ultra 2 - you click the "Tap the screen to speak" and it starts a 6 second countdown, but nothing happens when you speak - you are back to "Tap the screen to speak", so this function does not seem to exist. In summary, compared to other similarly priced watches, hardware seems excellent, software is similar - health metrics are not as accurate as one would like, features work well

This is a really, really, nice watch at an exceptional price!
I got this watch to replace another budget smartwatch that the seller said had a battery issue due to moisture even though it was supposed to be rated to swim and snorkel with. I wanted something that was explicitly good for all that, and that had GPS and health monitoring. The Tank T3 Ultra 2 fit the bill, and still at a reasonable price. I love the app, and it works great on my Android phone. Take the time to set it up properly in the app, and then use the watch settings. The documents reference the old app, though; you want the Apexmove app instead; it's the newer and better one. This has full health monitoring including sleep, fitness tracking, heart rate, and even blood pressure. I've not yet tried the latter when I'd had my pressure checked recently, but the readings do seem to match my last doctor's visit. The screen layouts are good, and the resolution and brightness are good enough that even a dense digital display with all the stuff showing at once is easily readable. Customer service responds quickly to questions, but the manual is also good, better than most inexpensive smartwatches. Battery life so far seems exceptional, but I set up to turn on the display only when I push a button, not when raising my wrist, which I think triggers the display too often with random arm movements. I've gotten over two weeks on a charge and still had 50% left. My recommendation is to discharge it down to low single digits remaining before recharging.

Update- I will try another example.
This is an updated review. I'll speak about the software in an update (with reasoning below) but the hardware aspects of the watch can be accurately reviewed right now. The fit and finish of the watch is very high quality. This is an upgrade from the previous model that had I believe certain case parts made of aluminum. Now the watch is pretty much exclusively made from stainless steel. Aluminum is one of the easiest metals to form and machine and not to take anything away from the previous model, the stainless steel is a welcome upgrade. It feels very substantial and gives you confidence that it isn't going to fall apart of you're performing active sports or wearing it while working around the house or property. There are no sharp edges as you might find on other watches. That is important because snags on clothing can be a real concern but here there is no problem. The watch face is on the large size and here is the thing, with a conventional watch you can have a smaller dial and that doesn't detract too much from function since it has only one important one, to display the time and maybe date. Watches with complications like chronographs might be larger but in general the 38-41 mm works well and large is considered jumbo. With a smartwatch there is a lot going on, plenty of data to read and graphs and notifications require a larger dial. Here, the dial is plenty large for that purpose. I have a wide wrist and this size fit very well. One real plus was attaching the watch bands. It was so simple to just press the small lever and attach the bands I wonder why more bands don't work that way. The small lever hand pushed flush so there is no worry about the bands coming off accidentally. Someone was thinking when they designed that feature in. The material of the bands is also very good, they follow the contour of your wrist for a good fit. Far too many watch bands are stiff and take a long time to break in and fit, the bands on this watch fir perfectly from first use. Brightness of the display: The screen brightness can be set from low to brilliant. Even in direct sunlight I didn't need to use more than 1/2 bright. At full bright the display can literally light a dark room. Also, the flashlight feature is very handy especially if you program the left bottom button to activate it. While I'm sure it draws power, its a nice touch and really works. At first you might think its a gimmick until you get up at night to check on something or just need a bit of light to read a label or something and it's not really totally dark but not light enough to see the text easily. I found myself using the flashlight feature when going upstairs in a room we rarely use and there isn't a light switch right by the door. At night the flashlight feature makes it easy to go in, get something out of a drawer and exit without turning on the ceiling fan lights. The buttons are easy to use and large enough so there is no mistakes using them. What was really helpful is that it isn't easy to accidentally press them. Wearing a coat for the morning walk or being active I not once pressed any of the buttons unintentionally. I wish I could say that about one of my phones. The buttons work smoothly and you know when you've activated them. The watch is a good thickness. It's not very thick and fits on the wrist nicely. You won't notice any weight because it fits on the wrist well thanks to the nice bands. Battery life. Amazing. The promises of battery life in the description are accurate, nice. One benefit of all this is that you stop checking your phone as often and instead read the notifications on the watch thus the charge on your phone lasts longer. That is really something to consider if you have a phone that doesn't run as long on a charge as you'd like. The calling feature did work for me, surprising me when the phone rang and I was able to use the watch to answer and talk. I expecting that as I didn't get a smartwatch for that reason. What was really nice was the clarity of the call. Now, there is no privacy because its like using a speaker phone but it could be handy in some circumstances. Bluetooth. There is a notice to not pair it with the phone using the phone's pairing function. Follow the advice. Reason for my review update: My first example had some data consistency issues. Information wasn't 100% consistent between the app and phone. I wrote about that is some detail but I am updating my review (with more updates to follow shortly) for the following reasons: 1. There is a possibility my particular watch experienced a data corruption issue not related to the watch but rather the update from Android 14 to Android 15 on the Motorola Razr 20xx+. 2. Some other apps changed languages, some settings reverted to factory default and some notifications had to be reset. With the Razr, not only did Android get updated but then the Motorola specific skins and firmware also updated shortly afterwards. 3. The language settings for my Garmin email contact changed to Dutch of all things so email from them came in Dutch and I had to translate it. 4. The updates all took place at night so if you have your phone to allow updates only during certain times or only when WiFi connected you could get the updates and be unaware it happened. Nevertheless, it's software and software can get what we all call glitches, the reasons aren't apparent but they happen. I had contact with the tech support team at Kospet and figured out the best solution was to try another example and see if that goes as expected. Regardless, what often matters most is how a company responds to issues and to date, Kospet is at the top tier. For those who read my reviews (and if you haven't) you know I am critical of customer service but also say when customer service is very good. I am not a paid reviewer and my initial purchase is always out of my pocket and for my personal use, I just share my experience. So watch (no pun intended) this review as I will update it in the near future and I'll go over the parts of the initial review and compare that to the resulting experience. Those of you that have read my other reviews know I am a stickler for detail and value proper function and match descriptions and marketing to what you actually get. So follow this review for an update that is dedicated to the software/firmware aspects. :)

An incredibly good watch at a very reasonable price
I've been trying to find the perfect watch for my needs for several years now, and after trying a couple of the more expensive ones (in the $400 - $600 range) I decided to check out a few of the watches that claim good results at lower cost. Most of the watches I tried actually were quite good, but each lacked something I wanted. This one, the Kospet T3 Ultra, has everything I need and more. Obviously it keeps accurate time--what watch doesn't these days? But all of its other features are extremely accurate. For example, the altimeter shows an elevation for my house within 1 ft of the geological survey map for my area. Its ability to continuously track my pulse, oxygen level, and stress are phenomenal. Sleep tracking is excellent. I hope the blood pressure readings are good because I have to say my cuff does report a somewhat higher level--but within reason. The battery is lasting about 3 weeks (!), but I do have to admit that I don't use some of the more battery-intense features of the watch such as phone connectivity. I had a couple of issues that caused me to contact customer service--the response and response time was excellent. For now, my search for the perfect "smart watch" is over. But I will certainly consider any new offerings this company comes up with. Update: I decided to try the phone/text connectivity facilities of the watch, and they work very well. As I mentioned in my original review, based on other watch experience, I was hesitant because of the battery drain. But after ten days of using the phone/text connectivity, the battery is still at 75%, so adding that functionality has cost very little in battery drain. I'm even happier with the watch now than I was when I wrote the original review.

Good Watch for the Money
This review is for the Kospet Tank T2 Special Edition with the stainless steel strap. I've worn this watch for about three weeks. After six years with an Amazfit watch, I wanted a more traditional look and feel - and to move away from all the square plastic smart watches. This one does that. First of all, the watch is HEAVY. It weighs in at 127 grams - my Amazfit was 33 - a typical Casio is 43. That being said - the case and SS band are top notch with a great feel and look. The watch comes with the tools and additional links to shorten or lengthen the band to your needs - a big plus compared to most watches. It also comes with a screen protector shield just like the one on your smart phone. The display is sharp and clear. The app has more than enough watch faces to keep most people happy. I opted for a dark analog look that is visible even in full sunlight. I thought the step accuracy was off, so I went to great lengths to test that. I couldn't have been more wrong. Every test I did showed 99% or better accuracy on counting steps compared to a manual count. The watch has dozens of available sports listed in the sport mode - these can all be edited out so only the ones you need are on the watch face itself. Interestingly, each sport decides if it will count steps as well as time and calories. For example - walking gives you results in time, distance and steps. Pickleball gives you time and calories - but no steps. It's all good once you figure it out. The notifications are simple and useful, but the Bluetooth range is simply poor. A phone that is 20 or 30 feet away will simply not connect the notification to the watch. Maybe some of that is my phone. That being said, the phone quality on the watch is AMAZING (if within range). The calls on my watch are louder than the speaker on my phone, and the microphone seems to work without a hitch. The phone stores some contacts and has a call history. I would think that making a call on the watch would be silly compared with just picking up the phone, but since the phone function works so well - maybe I need to try that. The watch is marketed on its toughness - and I can't yet speak to that - although it feels as if it would take a beating. This watch looks like the 2018 Galaxy - so if you like that style - you will like this (there is no rotating bezel). I had a Galaxy, but could not keep the battery going past one day. The battery on the Tank is SUPER. I'm running about 10 days on a charge and recharge in two hours (proprietary magnetic cable). If the Galaxy would have done that, I would have kept it forever. Okay - then there is the APP. The APP is simply not done. From day to day, I find things that work better than I thought they did - but it's still the weak link in the watch. The AMAZFIT APP I used for years is much, much better. Online customer support also seems DOA. There is no indication that the company ever answers questions posted by users. Blood pressure and SPO2 compares favorably with external readings from dedicated devices. All in all this is a good value for the money - especially if you want the look of a more traditional watch. UPDATE AFTER SEVERAL MORE WEEKS: After the initial review, the manufacturer reached out with comments concerning some of the items mentioned - especially regarding the lackluster phone app. Nice to know that your suggestions are heard. Some additional odds and ends: Unlike many watches including Apple, the watch has a step goal which goes off with a big fanfare when the goal is met. Nice touch. It also has a unique and correct way to NOT count steps for many forms of exercise such as weight lifting, calisthenics, etc. For these events it only counts calories and time. Again, even Apple doesn't get this right. But then back to the App: there is no way to record daily weight which seems strange on a fitness tracker. Apple doesn't do this either, but Amazfit (Zepp) have had it in their app for many years. Still a good looking watch is you are tired of the rubber band stuff.

Update from my previous post from 2 stars to 5 stars
The most recent update of this watch compared to its previous version Tank 2 Ultra, new cousin, the P10 watch. I also love this watch and own the Tank 2 Ultra watch, Tank3 Ultra and now the P10. I had to buy the P10 directly from the Kospet website because I bought it as soon as it was available, and it had not yet been available on Amazon. There is little difference between the Tank 2 Ultra 2 and the Tank 3 Ultra...so i focused my comparison with the previous model as i had more time to test and wear it. With that caveat mentioned, below is a breakdown of the two. Here’s a quick comparison of swimming laps and water-related use between the Kospet P10 and the Tank 2 Ultra (Tankwatch 2 Ultra/Tank3 Ultra). Note: exact specs can vary by firmware, so check your device’s latest updates. I’ve highlighted typical strengths and trade-offs. Quick comparison: Kospet P10 vs Tank 2 Ultra (swimming-focused) 1) Water resistance and swim metrics Kospet P10** Water resistance: IP68/IP68-like rating often advertised; some models also claim 5ATM. Verify your unit’s rating in the user manual. Swimming features commonly include: basic lap counting, stroke recognition, and pace/heart rate monitoring during workouts. Tank 2 Ultra** Water resistance: Generally rated 5ATM (up to 50 meters) for swimming. More mature swim tracking in many models: automatic lap counting, distance, pace, stroke type detection on many builds, and sometimes more advanced swim metrics (SWOLF, stroke rate, and endurance metrics) with robust GPS/GLONASS support for open-water swim when applicable. The bottom line is that both can handle pool swimming, but the Tank 2 Ultra typically offers more mature swim analytics and broader water-resistance status checks in practice. 2) Swim metrics and accuracy Kospet P10** Pros: Decent pool lap counting, simple stroke/pacing readouts, decent HR monitoring during laps. Cons: Stroke detection and distance accuracy can be less consistent, with occasional GPS-free measurements or drift in long sessions. Tank 2 Ultra** Pros: More refined swimming metrics (often accurate lap counting, distance, pace, SWOLF, stroke type, stroke rate). If it has GPS, open-water tracking is more reliable. Cons: Higher likelihood of needing firmware updates to optimize swim metrics. Bottom line: Tank 2 Ultra generally provides more advanced and reliable swim analytics. 3) Heart rate and health tracking during swims Kospet P10** HR sensor on wrist; works during swims if properly sealed. Sleep/activity features standard. Tank 2 Ultra** Robust HR monitoring with continuous tracking, often better stability during workouts due to more mature sensor tech and software optimization. Bottom line: Tank 2 Ultra tends to deliver steadier HR data during swims. 4) GPS and open-water swimming Kospet P10** If equipped, GPS can work for open-water workouts, but many budget models have inconsistent GPS performance and may rely more on pool mode. Tank 2 Ultra** Usually better GPS performance and open-water swim support, including route mapping and distance tracking. Bottom line: Tank 2 Ultra has an edge for open-water swimming. 5) Ecosystem and app experience Kospet P10** Kospet app ecosystem, reasonable exercise history, basic analytics, and typical third-party app integration. Tank 2 Ultra** Often pairs with more mature app ecosystems, better workout export options (FIT/GPX), and sometimes more polished coaching and analytics dashboards. Bottom line: Tank 2 Ultra generally offers a stronger data and export experience. 6) Battery life in swimming mode Kospet P10** Typically decent battery life; swimming sessions drain battery, but basic tracking is efficient. Tank 2 Ultra** Higher-end display and features can use more power; however, it’s designed to last through several workouts depending on settings (GPS on vs off, HR tracking, etc.). Bottom line: Expect similar day-to-day endurance; enable GPS only when needed to conserve battery. 7) Durability and usability in a pool Kospet P10** Lightweight, good everyday wear; ensure you have a secure strap and proper sealing for pool use. Tank 2 Ultra** Rugged design with trusted waterproofing for swimming; often has better overall build and reliability in wet conditions. Bottom line: Both are pool-friendly, with Tank 2 Ultra typically offering more rugged confidence. Recommendations based on priorities If your priority is detailed swim analytics (lap counts, SWOLF, stroke rate, open-water tracking) and robust GPS support, consider the Tank 2 Ultra as the stronger swimmer-focused option. If you want a more budget-friendly option with solid pool metrics and good battery life, the Kospet P10 is a viable choice—just expect slightly less precise swim metrics and tracking finesse. Quick tips to maximize swimming performance with either watch Ensure the device is properly tightened and wetted before swimming to improve HR accuracy. Verify you’ve enabled pool swimming mode (if available) and set pool length correctly in the app. Keep firmware updated for the latest swim metrics improvements. Calibrate stroke recognition by doing a few test laps if your model offers manual calibration. One can't go wrong with either watch, and given the frequency with which I have enabled the watches to monitor vitals, my battery life is much shorter than the typical default settings, so I end up rotating between the two to avoid potential battery exhaustion during workout times. New updated post: The customer service was excellent, and they refunded my purchase without a hassle. I will be repurchasing this watch because I love it that much! And, when you have a company that stands by their products the way this company does, I will gladly give them as well as this watch, another try. Excellent job, customer service, and company 👏 The old post was the following: I bought this watch in October 2024, and have worn it virtually every day until today, January 15th, 2025. I swim 3x to 4x per week in a local swimming pool, and this watch does a great job keeping a record of laps and my vitals. But today, the screen was blank for about 30 seconds while in the pool, then remained blank permanently. It still has a charge, and I've dried it out. I can tell the rest of the watch is working without the screen because it still vibrates, and the back of the watch that measures body info is flashing as usual. The Amazon website says a refund is only available for 30 days. They had me contact the seller, which I just did on their website. I hope they respond and make this right by repairing or giving me a discount or replacement watch. As I said, I loved this watch more so than my Garmin Swim2 watch, but it's still working, and this one isn't. I hate to think that I spent a large amount of money on a watch that didn't last 6 months.

Disappointed
For the money, you would expect it to last at least a year. Had an issue with connectivity early, had to delete it and redownload it under a new account. Inconvenient, but not the end of the world. Worked fine for months, then last week it froze up. Went home and put it on the charger to see if anything would happen, next morning, it came back on but only at 50% charged. Wore it a couple of days, and now, nothing, it won’t cut on. Dead screen. Very disappointing. Waiting on any reply. Not getting my hopes up.

Lo único no se siente mucho esla vibración. Y lo q no me gusta mucho es que no tiene bloqueo del reloj en caso de robo o extravío o cuando te lo quita y pues tus contactos. y los msj de redes se ven ahi.
