Do not generally give a 5-star for anything, but I am particularly satisfied with this unit because it has a solid footprint when standing and the tilt and telescoping feature allow for the best light to strike the pages for easier reading. The construction is stout enough for a heavy text book, but I would not recommend this for the Gutenberg Bible. I mean, let's be sensible now! It really is a sturdy unit, and I find it very easy to move around on my desk when I am referencing something for work on the computer. UPDATE: Just to let everyone know who is reading this, I have since bought my second bookstand, because I seriously like the angles that I can get to read my books in any type of environment. So I purchased the second one to travel with, enabling me to keep the original one at home. I do not wish to lose the one that I have. So I am going on the principle of Doomsday Preppers, where 2 is 1 and 1 is none philosophy. I like it that much that I do not wish to do without it.

Happy I spent the extra $ and got this! Works beautifully, my neck does not hurt anymore.

I recently got this book stand and today I took it to a cafe to read for a few hours. It holds large books securely, and I can adjust it to any height and angle I desire. I no longer need to crane my neck down to look at the non-height adjustable book stand I formerly used.

This is the most amazing book stand I ever had! I don’t think anyone can make a book stand better than this. I had so many different book stand. This one tops it off! It can be positioned in every direction you would possibly want a book stand to be. Highly recommended!!

While the shelf is good size, the product dimension of 15”x 10”x 4” is for the box, not the actual product. I’ll keep it, but won’t buy another one. The pictures show the correct size.

Funktioniert super und man kann damit gut im Stehen lesen (z.B. das dickere Buch: "Sitzen ist das neue Rauchen"). Beim Ausziehen rasten die ausgezogenen Arme in ihren Auszug ein. Es gibt kein Rutschen, Wackeln oder sonstiges Gefrickel.

Ottimo. Funziona benissimo. Solo si potrebbe pensare a una versione con piano trasparente o anche con base più larga per libri pesanti.
