We ordered 2 containers of Petramax in October of 2025 and in the spring we took it out of our basement to use on our mulch. One of the containers was hard as a rock.We were beyond the window to return so I wrote the chat group for Petramax on Amazon asking if we could return it or if there is a way to get the glue to be soft again.I chatted with their agent, Anne, she was super helpful and quickly asked for my order number and name.Once she pulled up the order she sent me a replacement with no hassle that I will receive in 3 to 5 business days.These days with the lack of customer service and AI bots responding to questions it was really wonderful to get an actual person helping with issues and made it so so easy. More companies need to be like Petramax, what a wonderful experience.

This stuff works very well for keeping pea gravel in place in small areas, for example between larger stepping stones.You do need a good sprayer to apply as it can clog some smaller ones.I tried it on some mulch and it sis not work as well as hoped, but I think I did not apply enough of it ion my instance.I will try this again next year with fresh mulch and before plants become too big.Overall, and expensive item but certainly worth it for gravel applications.

Our landscape has a slight slope so mulch always ended up on the sidewalk during a hard rain. Not anymore! This has worked GREAT for us! I highly recommend it. Just wish I had ordered when it was buy one get one free a while back.

I bought two bottles hoping this product would work because I previously used the same brand’s stone binder and had amazing results. Unfortunately, the mulch version was extremely disappointing. I used both bottles on only about a 70 sq. ft. area and nothing happened. The product simply soaked into the mulch and made it look darker, but it did not bind or hold the mulch together in any way, shape, or form. Total waste of money and very frustrating. I had to put one star or I would’ve given it zero.

Followed the instructions. Didn’t work that well for me. Easy to apply but it doesn’t really stick well.

Great product! Mixed rate as instructed and two coats and it worked as advertised! Very pleased.

Don't waste your money! This is by far a total scam. It doesn't work at all on mulch. We followed precise instructions and felt quite foolish for falling for such a product and thinking it might actually work. Very expensive + we needed to purchase the spray canister. Very disappointed.
