The S2 fits well under my portafilter, (double spout) and does exactly what I need. Weight in grams and tare. The top silicon mat is slippery, and tends to fall off, but not an issue. The controls are simple, and react well to contact without being overly reactive to the body being touched.

I'm very pleased with this small scale. It is very smal like I wanted it to be,l and is perfect for my purpose, which is to precisely measure coffee beans before grinding. I'm not using it to measure espresso output, although it would apparently work well for that. It came fully charged, and it has a small recharging cord so you don't have to fuss with batteries. To recharge you would of course need a wall plug, but that is true of virtually every rechargeable item these days. I like that it has an on-off switch on the side rather than being auto-on. It's easy to switch from ounces to grams to ml, and it has a tare function as well. The digital numbers are easy to read. The measurements are on the right side, the timer is on the left. It's actually even smaller than I anticipated, but I like that as the only thing I put on it is my coffee bean measuring cup. It comes with a silicone topper that lays over the top. I can't judge battery life between charges, but I suspect it will last a very long time since I only use it once a day. As long as it doesn't go wonky, I'm very pleased with it. I don't plan to keep it on top of my espresso machine so I'm not worried about heat under it or anything like that. Nice little scale if you want to measure weight in small .1 increments.

Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included.Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some!This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). I've been using the S2 scale for about two months now. Love the feature that starts the timer as soon as the scale detects a change in weight. When it works, it works great. When it doesn't (which is about 10% of the time) it's a disaster and I mess up the shot. The timer starts, then stops, or doesn't work at all, and the scale goes wonky. Recharging doesn't seem to make a difference. I suppose I could get by using the timer manually (in which case this would be a 5 star review, but I'm addicted to the auto feature and I'm probably going to have to replace the thing and buy a different scale.

يشهد الله علي بكل كلمه اقولها،الميزان رهييب رهييب جداا وخلاني اكتشف اني ظالم نفسي بالميزان الرخيص اللي عندي،دقيق جدا ويحسب حتى بالفواصل مجرد ان الوزنيه تزيد بفاصله يحسبها لك مباشره،يوميا اسوي شاي ويطلع معي نفس الوزنه ونفس الطعم بسبب دقته عكس الميزان اللي قبله كل شوي يعطيني وزنيه وارقام مختلفه،ومعتنين بالملحقات اللي تجي مع الميزان يجي معاه سلك شاحن وقماشة كاربون فايبر عشان تمسح القزاز لو انكب عليه شيء وبرضو جايبين معاه قاعدة سيليكون عشان توزن عليها وتحميه،وكل شيء يشتغل باللمس،السلبيه الوحيده هو حجمه ويمكن ماتعتبر سلبيه لأنه للاسبريسو وانا اسوي فيه شاي لكن حجمه صغير عدى ذلك الميزان جامد مقارنه بسعره خذه وولا تتردد

Cumple su función. Es pequeño, con lo que cabe bajo el portafiltro, pero es alto, con lo que algunas tazas pueden estar un poco apretadas. El cronómetro automático está muy bien, se activa cuando cae la primera gota y se para cuando cae la última; dicho esto, sería estupendo si hubiese un modo en el que se pudiera activar el cronómetro manualmente para el comienzo (cuando le doy al botón de la máquina espresso) y se detuviera automáticamente con la última gota. Por lo demás, parece que funciona como es de esperar, parece estar construida con materiales de buena calidad, y es fácil de utilizar. Una buena adición para mis exploraciones cafeínicas.
