Good quality
This thing is great! You don't have to drill holes to use it! My son put the a/c unit in and it took all of 5 minutes. It's very sturdy, easy to adjust, easy to put together. It looks nice from the outside and there has been no signs of rust thus far. I feel secure knowing that the a/c unit is supported well. My only problem was that new windows in the bedroom have a lip on them so it was a bit of a challenge to get the unit to sit properly with the bracket but we got it. Just had to use some extra of the foam insulation around the bottom. It fit perfectly in the older windows. Initially, I didn't think that it was going to worth the price but it's actually worth every penny.

Excellent and very strong windows air conditioner bracket
Very nice window air conditioner support bracket. Very strong construction. Assembly is very straightforward. The only challenge is aligning the support legs. Using a measuring tape speeds up the process. I recommend having a helper to hold the bracket in place but I did the installation by myself. The end result is a bracket that is strong enough to stand on (I weigh over 200 lbs.). When correctly installed with your air conditioner, this bracket allows for opening the window for fresh air and to use cooler air in the mornings. Tips: 1. Measure the window. I installed this in a 36 inch wide window. That is the maximum width this bracket supports. The tray width is 16 inches wide by 18 inches deep. Center the air conditioner to maintain balance and to reduce vibration and noise. I attached a 1/8 inch rubber gasket (purchased separately) on the tray to reduce vibration. 2. Double check your siding. Some of the weight is transferred to your siding via the legs. Your siding should not bend or break under weight (perhaps 1/3 of the air conditioner weight). 3. 12-inch bubble level. The goal is a 5 degree slope downwards so that water does not come inside. 4. Foam (2 inch by 2 inch by window length) to go between the window frame and the bracket, and between the bracket and the air conditioner. The goal is to insulate under and over the frame. I also used spray foam such as "GE Gaps & Cracks Insulating Foam" to create an air, water and bug proof installation all around the air conditioner. I added 1x2 foam on the window bottom to create an airtight installation with the operable part of the window so that I can open and close the window. In summary this bracket is high quality and will support small and big/heavy window air conditioners.

Didn't work for me, but still a good bracket.
Even though I have to return the support bracket I'm going to give it 5 stars. It seems very sturdy and well-built. It was easy to assemble, adjust, and install (though it was a bit rough on my fingers pressing those buttons in so many times). It fit my window well overall, but the design is not compatible with my window AC unit. My unit, like many, has the channels on its underside for the side fins' brackets to slide in, meaning my unit bottom isn't completely flat. If it were, I could see this bracket working as intended. As it is, the bracket would have had my unit be too far out my window or too far inside and tilted forward (instead of the desired slight tilt backwards). Plus there would have been tremendous gaps with the side fins to the window, due to the incompatibility of the bracket work my unit. It wasn't going to work. There are different designs of units out there, but I think the underside channels design is pretty common. I'm giving the bracket the benefit of the doubt and chalking the incompatibility up as a "me" problem rather than an outright problem with the bracket.

Solid and easy to assemble
I'm using this bracket with an 8K BTU Frigidaire model that weighs about 55lbs. The bracket itself is all steel and perfectly sturdy: it supports my window AC with ease. It was pretty easy to assemble. Yes, you will have to push those buttons in a lot to get it into position, but that doesn't take long, and it's a one-time deal. More consideration could be taken for weather-sealing the underside of the AC with this bracket. My Frigidaire has a sizable gap underneath that I had to be a bit creative with. I also have to ding Amazon and/or seller DBROTH for the condition it came in. I ordered this New, and what arrived was clearly a return. The packaging was poorly re-taped, there was a large hole in the side, and there were already-cut zip-ties inside. The box still contained all parts, and the bracket itself was in good condition still, but I do expect New-condition items to arrive in better condition than this.

Great Product, easy to use, Renter friendly
Our landlord had recently put in new windows in the house we are renting (great!) We have a rather LARGE window AC unity since we do not have air conditioning in the house. Our AC was able to rest perfectly in our old wooden windows np; however, after these new plastic trim windows were put in, our AC could no longer rest along the bottom of the window with a plastic part that was now there sticking up. We couldn't use screw-in AC supports due to the whole window-sil being plastic and we are renters. Thankfully this product was a blessing to us! Extremely easy to set up, the bar rests in front of the annoying plastic bump that sticks up in our windows and holds up our extremely big AC unit with no problems and no slipping! The price is abit steep, but was totally worth it! No more suffering 90 degree heat upstairs YAY!

Best No Drill AC Support Bracket
I live in NYC and I didn't want to drop my 12,000 BTU beat of an air conditioner out the window. I tried three ac support brackets and this was the best. The first was the EZ-AC bracket, which was terrible. This one required drilling into the window frame, but the screws included were so flimsy that they stripped even when I had drilled pilot holes. The second was the AC Safe no-drill bracket. However, that one did not have an adjustable leg so it was unable to rest against the side of the exterior wall. The weight was still being borne by the window. I got the Ivation, which was super-expensive at $100. However, it was definitely the best frame. First, the setup instructions were very clear and easy. Second, the two legs had adjustable rubber feet that provided solid support to the frame. Third, the bar that goes into the window sill was thin enough to fit without too much banging. As a result, I was able to get the air conditioner to sit perfectly on the bracket without any window support. (I held on to the AC unit just in case, but I could feel that even with the window open, the AC was being held up 100% by the frame.) Just make sure that your window has a lip for the bracket to grab onto. IF you don't have a lip, then you need to drill. Your window also has to be at least 24 inches wide. Mine barely fit the frame. Lastly, and most importantly, if your window has multiple lips along the window sill, put the frame in the outer-most one. My AC, like many others, has a bottom rail. That AC rail should go into the inner-most lip (or valley) and the support should go on the outer-most lip. That way, the AC should fit 100% perfectly (if you adjusted the slope properly) with minimal gaps. I also installed a window lock on the window for extra peace of mind. It's expensive, but well-built, easy-to-install, and will probably outlast your air conditioner.

Could be great
Potential to be great product. Made well and easy to assemble. Sadly mine arrived in a damaged box but looked ok so I proceeded to assemble. Ironically the front plate was not flush and equal. Off but at least 1/2 inch one side. Seller and manufacturer did refund me.

Simple, Solid, and Doesn’t Wreck Your Window Frame
Even as a homeowner, I didn’t love the idea of drilling into my window frame just to install an AC unit, so this bracket was exactly what I was looking for. Setup was super straightforward. No tools, just follow the straightforward instructions. I was able to install this solo in under 10 minutes. It feels really sturdy and holds my 100+ lb AC unit. The materials are solid (heavy-duty steel, not flimsy), and it gave me peace of mind knowing the AC was secure without causing any damage to the exterior of my house, or falling.. these things are heavy! Tip: Double-check that your sill is level before you start, it helps everything sit flush the first time around. Mine was, so no issues there. Definitely recommend this if you want a clean, damage-free install without sacrificing stability.

Actually works better then expected.
I added a small 2x2cm at the back to stop it sliding. It was not sliding without it but a little extra security will help if it is bumped really hard or there is a cyclone or something.
