Good mouthwash, use regularly, taste okay, essential part of your daily routine

This product is an excellent product for people that have gum problems, but it does need to come with a couple of warnings. Firstly, it is best to use this product only if your dentist has recommended that you use it, which the Corsodyl TV adverts definitely don't make clear. Secondly, this product can stain your teeth. The best way to minimise the risk of it staining your teeth is to try not to eat or drink anything for an hour before or after you use the mouthwash. The highest risk of staining comes from products containing tannin such as tea, coffee or red wine, so these especially need to be avoided soon before and after using Corsodyl. The other piece of advice that my dentist gave me about using mouthwash (any mouthwash, not just Corsodyl) is not to use the mouthwash immediately after brushing your teeth. As the NHS teeth cleaning guide puts it: "Using a mouthwash that contains fluoride can help to prevent tooth decay, but don't use mouthwash – even a fluoride one – straight after brushing your teeth or it will wash away the concentrated fluoride in the toothpaste left on your teeth." So I don't recommend using Corsodyl unless you have gum problems, however if you do have gum problems then it appears to be the best product currently available to do the job. Just be careful that you don't end up staining your teeth. My dentist has recommended that I use Corsodyl for a month, then use a standard fluoride mouthwash for the next month, then continue alternating between the two.

Great for dealing with gum infections. Recommended to me by my doctor. Did the job for me. Only negative is the taste & tooth staining that takes a while to dissipate.

Great product keeps my mouth clean with fresh breath very good value.

The only stuff for gum trouble

I had wisdom tooth out in lockdown and when tooth removed nothing else was done due to rules had to salt water 3 times day but it not healed as should and released a vile taste been weeks this taste, so someone said about Corsodyl sorts gum infection in 30seconds so tried & so far so good the taste is less i will use for the full month as recommended, as for staining no its not stained my teeth at all & im on 3rd week, taste no to bad but not to good it fades away after 5 mins or so anyway not there for long, but my 1st try at the wash I diluted so I could get used to it 1st, then I didnt dilute so much now I dont dilute at all, and now no swelling on the cheek as if had a sinus issue but didnt, taste is almost gone where the took is healing can see a very small gap not quite healed so i assume its there the taste comes from, I was told things that taste horrid usually do you good that was medicine wise lol
