My cat was scratching every night at the carpets. A quick spray and the problem seems to have been resolved.

I picked the spray because it had the highest rating for the number of purchases, and I had already done some research on other sprays. I am quietly optimistic that it is working well. We adopted a one year-old from a cat rescue centre, so her excitement when faced with stair carpet was off the scale. Not to mention my fabric sofa! From the moment I started spraying, she has not gone near either in terms of scratching. What I found interesting was she didn’t seem to squirm at the smell of it, which I was expecting, in fact she doesn’t seem phased by at all, but she has stopped! Somehow it’s putting her off. For a human the smell is not unpleasant, it’s no more than a citrus room freshener. Even my husband who has an extremely sensitive nose hasn’t noticed. It’s been just over a week since I started, and about 2/3rds of the spray has gone, but it’s certainly worth buying again just to be sure. I’m hoping that I can now remove the throws from the ends of my sofa that have protected the arms.

The smell isn't too bad and fades to pleasant clean citrus fragrance. It does require daily use to curb behaviour. Saved my carpet from constant scratch attacks and my cat happily walks on the sprayed carpet and no longer scratches. It's a little expensive and will probably need 2-3 bottles over a few months of constant use.

Works if you use it correctly, but runs out super fast. It does specifically tell you to use it on a daily basis in the same location, to discourage cats repeatedly until it sticks. And that works! My kitten has started to avoid the places I spray, but because it requires daily application, it goes fast. The smell is also pretty strong, so unless you love citronella, it's going to bother you, too. My bottle also arrived slightly leaking and covered in the oily product. My kitten has had no adverse reactions to it, so it seems like a safe, humane way to keep them away from certain places.

I had high hopes for this spray, but it does nothing, other than make my room smell quite nice. I can spray it around my cats and they don’t budge an inch. Doesn’t do what it says on the tin. Waste of money.

Applied it to our new couch and my cat immediately jumped on it and licked the couch for ages, after that, he went for a nap and has been on the couch for the past 3 hours - he loooooves the smell haha He is orange though, they are known for their peculiar taste!!

Appears to work up to now but have to spray often. Saving my stair carpet is well worth it.

Worked though the scent faded faster than the time between applications suggests. It's sprayed on daily until the behavior stops. Kept the kitten away.

An effect cat deterrent spray that has worked well for us for the past 3 months. In November we adopted 2 abandoned kittens and needed a spray that would keep them away from power cords, plants and climbing into the underside of our recliners. Spraying directly onto the plants and under the recliners worked well to keep the kittens out. For power cords we spray a small rag and wipe the cords down. For the first couple weeks we had to spray daily, now we only spray occasionally when a reminder is needed. Being 3 months later one of the kittens has made a couple attempts to begin scratching at one of our three recliners. We have sprayed down the corners of that one and two others just in case. After one spray, the cat didn't go back to they chair for about 2 weeks. At that point another spray down was needed. The spray has a minty fresh scent, and has not left any stains or discoloration to any furniture we have sprayed. I would recommend trying this spray. Expect to retreat some areas occasionally as the curious cats will need an occasional reminder. After 3 months use, we still have about 1/4 bottle left.

It doesn’t work at all do not buy this product I tried for a week didn’t do anything my cats liked it I got the plastic sticker it works like magic

I purchased Weallin because my cat Luca was always jumping up on my desk to lay across my laptop. I sprayed my desk a few times and now he just jumps into my chair. Now he doesn't want to lay across the laptop. I was really suprised how well this stuff works. It has a pleasantly scent and lasts several days. I've sprayed it on my leather couch and my countertops and it works great. Luca now uses his pet bed which I set up right next to my desk. I'm happy he's happy, I wish I had found this sooner! Plus it's a great value. The bottle will last me a long time

For the last three years we have tried to find a way to keep our cats from the tree. Just after putting up the tree, before ornaments and lights, the cats were already sleeping under the tree. When we did put the ornaments up the next morning we found quite a few on the ground. Knowing that they would then cause more problems with the tree we bought some of this spray and used it per the directions. Sprayed it liberally around the tree skirt one day and the next morning there were no ornaments on the floor. We didn't spray the next two nights and the following day we did find a couple on the floor so we sprayed again. Overall we sprayed only 3 times and for weeks following they have not bothered the tree! I would recommend this deterrent spray to anyone. It works fantastic.

Worked pretty well. My cat is a bit stubborn and tried to continue scratching, but eventually the spray won and he is no longer scratching the furniture. I continued to spray for a couple days afterwards, and he has not gone back since. Smells clean like mint or eucalyptus and adds a fresh vibe to my whole living room. Does not leave any kind of residue or mark on the furniture.
