Literally magic in a bottle. I recently found out that constant itching I have always had and build up of flakes is because I have seborrheic derm in which I have been trying the past month to calm down with nizoral. It’s made it more bearable but my hair still got smelly, itchy and heavy flakes two days after I washed. Then I asked chat gpt if there is a serum out there that could calm this down for good and basically extend my washes so I don’t have to keep washing my thick hair every other day religiously and it led me to dermazen. Within literally one second of applying dermazen, the itching stopped, it works so well. My day 3 scalp felt as calm as if I just came out of the shower. I am excited to see the long term effects of this product but I will say, even though it’s a hefty price, it’s worth every penny. I am so happy I finally found something that works for me. For those wondering about the texture of the serum, too me it feels more watery than sticky. It has a faint smell of tea tree oil but its not strong enough to make your whole scalp smell like it. I am using it in between wash days as a leave in or overnight before a wash but I am still finding out what works best for me.

My son has had skin issues since birth. This is the first product that actually fixed his skin!! His skin was so flaky before it was like constant white flakes all over his shirt. Now after using this his skin is baby smooth and zero flakes!! We are so happy!! Better than any prescription meds!!

Does exactly as it says. Calms your scalp and primes it for washing. Tacky so I only use it several hours before shampooing.

It’s been 30 days, and I can finally say it: this serum is a game-changer. I have no flakes, no itching, and no redness anywhere on my scalp or hairline. My hair even feels healthier and easier to manage. I’ve been using the serum twice a week along with washing my hair with Nizoral shampoo, and I’m honestly blown away by the results. No side effects, no irritation. Just calm, clear skin. I also mixed in a little MCT and essential oils early on to save a bit, and that first wash cleared out a ton of buildup. It hasn’t come back at all. Not even one flake! I noticed results after the first wash, which completely surprised me. I’ve had dandruff since I was a teenager (I’m 46 now), and this is the first routine that’s actually worked. The serum is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly. It has a mild scent that isn’t overpowering. The dropper makes it easy to apply the right amount directly to the scalp without making a mess. It’s not the cheapest product out there, but for what it’s done for my scalp, it’s worth every penny. If you’re dealing with Seborrheic Dermatitis or stubborn dandruff, don’t wait. Try this. I’ll keep buying it for as long as it works, and honestly, I wish I had found it sooner. This deserves 10 stars!!

In 2020 I was out hiking in northern California and managed to get poison oak all over my face. I was prescribed a steroid that absolutely destroyed the apparently delicate balance of yeast and bacteria that lives on all our faces, and since then, I've been battling "fungal acne" (actually called malassezia folliculitis, as it's more of a yeast overgrowth than acne). Unfortunately, once malassezia gets bad enough it creates a defense barrier called a "biofilm"on top of itself, making it difficult for anti-fungal treatments to reach. I found out about this digging deep into the archives of Simple Skin Care Science, a website I *highly* recommend for anyone struggling with skin issues, or looking to have nicer skin in general. The author and owner of the website suggests checking any products you buy for fungus-feeding ingredients on the website "Sezia", where you can enter the ingredients list, and it will tell you if any ingredients are likely to worsen the yeast infection. On the Sezia website, I found a page called "BEST SKINCARE FOR MALASSEZIA" and on that page, Dermazen was recommended as a product to help fight the biofilm. Well, I can confirm - Dermazen most definitely destroyed the biofilm on my face. It did not eradicate the malassezia, but by dissolving the biofilm, it made it possible for some of the antifungals to finally penetrate and reduce some of the yeast overgrowth. It also HYDRATES incredibly well - if I want my skin to look plump and beautiful, I can put a few drops of this on before bed and my skin looks incredible in the morning. I can't express how grateful I am for that, as my fungal infection is still very much active (the longer you have a fungal infection, your body develops resistance to antifungals, which is the stage I'm at) and as a result, I can't risk wearing makeup which would feed the yeast further. But truly, my skin has never looked better, unless you look really, really close - and then you can see the fungal infection which up close, looks like my face is covered in tiny blackheads/clogged pores. This product gave me hope, and although I'm still struggling to battle the yeast, the hydration it provides has allowed me to start using Differin, an extremely drying product that my rosacea normally can't tolerate. Every ingredient in this formula is excellent - I've used most of them separately (ie. niacinamide, HLA) or in other formulas, and I can say the team here has done something really special. I'm bummed that it's been going up in price because I need this for medical reasons, and haven't found anything as good. My only bit of feedback is I'd prefer a dropper - the way the top is, you have to dump the bottle upside down over your face, which is a bit awkward and it's hard to keep it from rolling off your face, as one hand is holding the bottle. I put mine in a smaller bottle with a dropper, which makes it easier to control how much comes out. Finally, I have to add - the packaging (aside from the top) is a 10/10 for me. It's the nicest label I've seen on a skincare product. Minimalist, spa-like and makes my bathroom look more peaceful. The print of the label is high-quality and even has sparkles in it.
