It goes everywhere with me
I have bought several of these journals already and will continue to buy them. I use them for church sermon notes, Bible studies, and to take notes on the books I read. These journals are the perfect size to keep in my purse and I almost always have my current journal with me wherever I go. It takes me roughly 3 months to fill one. I make sure to order another one before my first one is full. I am not gentle with these journals, but they hold up beautifully! First impressions - the cover is clean and smooth. I love the variety of colors. (I get a different color every time I buy a new journal). The material on the cover is smooth and does not scratch easily. I shove my journals in my bag with water bottles, pens, wallet, and whatever else finds it’s way into my purse and I have yet to damage a journal. These journals even survive a week at youth camp with me! I like to write a simple verse on the cover with a sharpie and it stays on well. There’s an elastic on the back cover to wrap around the journal to keep it securely closed. There’s also a handy elastic pen loop so I don’t have to hunt down a pen when I want to quickly jot a thought down. There’s two ribbons to use as bookmarks. They are strong and sturdy and won’t rip out when you accidentally pull too hard on them. The first thing you see when you open the journal is a “cover page” where you can write your name and contact info on. It helps the journal find its way back to you if you accidentally leave it at a coffee shop. Next, you’ll find 3 pages of blank table of contents. I didn’t realize how wonderful this would be when I first bought one of these journals. There’s space for the page number(s) and topic. During my weekly reflections, I’ll go through that weeks worth of journal entries and give each one a title for the table of contents. I love being able to quickly find specific sermon notes or journal entries! The pages are numbered, making it easier to track on the table of contents. They are thick enough that pens and highlighters don’t bleed through. There’s a place at the top of each page for the date and a title for that day’s entry. It’s light enough that it’s not distracting if you don’t use it (like when an entry is more than one page long and doesn’t need a new date/title). The pages hold up well if you like to tape things on them. They’re thick enough that it doesn’t bother you when you write on the next page after something is taped on the other side. There are 188 pages in this journal. Pages 171-188 are perforated so you can tear them out. They are strong and don’t accidentally tear, but if you do need to take out a page, they come out neat and clean if you fold back and forth along the perforated lines. One of my favorite features is the pocket in the back of the journal. I keep all sorts of things in there! It’s secure (especially thanks to that elastic that keeps the journal closed) and things have yet to fall out. Overall, I absolutely love this journal! I am excited to one day have a rainbow of these journals on my shelves, full of sermon notes, bible studies, and all sorts of goodness.

My must-have daily notebook
These are my favorite notebooks. I have repurchased and bought for others probably over a dozen times. They are relatively fountain pen friendly. Depends on the ink and nib size but I use a medium nib with Diamine Writers Blood and only have a tiny bit of bleed through if I write over another spot before it is dry (like correcting a letter or something). It does take a second to absorb so don’t flip your page immediately or your ink with smear. Light colored Tom Bows are ok and dark are fine if you don’t build up more than one layer. (Light is pic 3, minimal multi-colored pattern show through in pic 4) The two ribbon book marks are a game changer for me. Price is amazing for what you are getting. I consider these far superior to moleskin for half the price. Page count is great. I have been using the same one as a commonplace (so writing a blurb or two almost every day, give or take) since January ‘26 and am only a little more than halfway through. Lays flat and is still in like new condition even as I throw it in my bag, bring to the beach, etc. (last two photos) Great color selection that is true to the image provided. I can’t say enough good things. I will probably have at least one of these in rotation at all times.

Sturdy, beautiful, and perfect for heavy use.
I use two of these journals at a time: one to plan my novel, and the other as a diary/braindump combo. I don't decorate the pages or do any impressive bujo designs, so I can't speak to how it would serve as a bullet journal. However, these babies see a lot of heavy writing use from me. I've purchased four of them so far and not a single one has disappointed. Page thickness is great. I accidentally spilled water on a couple pages and it didn't bleed through, which was shocking to me, given how affordable this journal is compared to most others listed. The pages are smooth and easy to write on, so be careful with any pens that might smudge or smear. The paper will certainly make it easier to pick up and spread wet ink on your hands. I'm a ballpoint user and I've noticed that finer tips work best, but even with the standard cheap-o pens, I just give them a minute or two to dry and then I'm highlighting all over them with no problem. It's solidly built. I've never had any issue with pages falling out, or the bookmark ribbons unfurling - and I'm writing in my journal at least 3 or 4 hours a day, constantly flipping back and forth through multiple brain dumps. (If you've got ADHD, you understand what I mean.) The color of the cover and ribbons are absolutely stunning, somehow prettier than the pictures show imo. I personalize the covers of my journals with stickers and writing, and whatever I put on has lasted. Overall, this journal has consistently impressed me by serving me well and I couldn't recommend a better one.

Lovely
Arrived on time in perfect condition. Just as described: smooth, lovely cover; smooth paper, just the right weight, light grid that helps with positioning but doesn’t interfere with drawing or writing; helpful ribbon page markers; handy pocket inside back cover. Thanks for providing a quality product at a very reasonable price.

Fully equal to many expensive Japanese notebooks & lightyears better than Moleskin. And the Price!
The paper in these RETTACY Notebooks is absolutely fantastic. Smooth to the touch, easy on the eyes, and takes fountain pens as well as ballpoint, rollerball, and pencil all like a dream. The ghosting/show-through through is really minimal, and bleed through almost nonexistent (a tiny bit with a really wet fountain pen). Also works nice with Ranger ink stamp - still no bleed through although there is ghosting/show-through. The lining/grid/dot grids is clear but very subtle and non-distracting. (Do note that the lined notebooks (as opposed to grid, dot grid, or blank) to come with "Date" printed in the upper corner of each page). I think these are easily the equal in quality of Midori MD, Clairefontaine clothbound and Premium C.D. - now, all those (and these) have their own minor aesthetic differences (the Midori paper is creamier and a bit toothier, the Clairefontaine and C.D. is much "slicker"; cover differences, etc.) so everyone will have their favorites - but you won't be disappointed on quality - and how can you beat the price!!!! A million times better than Moleskin

Higher quality than expected
Especially for the price, this is a really high quality notebook. - The cover is well made - The pages are stitched, so they're not going to fall out over time - The paper is lovely; smooth, and easy to write on, no bleed through or indentations on the reverse side from writing (at least from the type of pen I use) - There's a stretchy band in the back for holding loose papers Took one star away because the little strip of stretchy fabric for holding a pen is ridiculously tiny. I just cut it off as I can't use it. Would absolutely recommend this for anyone who's looking for a sturdy, well-made notebook. Will definitely buy again.

Nice, Sturdy, Handy
Love this book. It is a good size for me. The only critique I have is that the lines are a little bit skinny. I find myself writing every two lines, kidn of liek grade school BUT the lines themselves are skinny enough that it doesn't make abig difference. This is now my go to daily journal. The texture of the cover is hard and 'leather' (I don't know if it is real), which makes me think it could be a good art project in the future ot decorate it. The back envelope is very pretty and sturdy. The two ribbons seem sturdy as well. (Althought I do not know why someone needs two? I'm assuming theres a specific use for them) its big enough to fit in my purse as well, so its easy to bring it along when I want. I got the green one and it is a rich forest green. Would totally buy again.

Love this, be cautious of highliting though.
I love this journal. It's my first dot journal. I use it every morning for my Bible journaling. I would recommend a 0.5mm or slightly smaller. Be cautious with highlighting, as every highlighter I have tried has smeared my pen makes. No bleeding. Easy to flip open and it lays flat. Good amount of pages. My church gives out little pamflit sort of things and they fit almost perfectly on the pages, so I can slip those right in there. Looks and feels nice. Would definitely buy again!
