I’ve ordered this toner more times than I can count over the years, which probably says more about how much I like it than anything else. I have combination skin, so finding products that keep the oily parts of my face under control without making the drier areas feel tight can be challenging. This is one of the few toners I’ve consistently come back to. The formula is lightweight and absorbs almost immediately after application. It doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue or film, which is something I really appreciate in a toner. My skin feels refreshed and balanced after using it rather than stripped or overly dry. One of the biggest reasons I continue repurchasing it is how well it helps manage oil throughout the day. My T-zone tends to get shiny, especially during warmer months, and this helps keep that under control while still leaving the rest of my skin feeling hydrated and comfortable. The niacinamide is also a nice addition, and over time I’ve noticed my pores look less noticeable and my skin texture appears smoother. I also like that it’s fragrance-free and gentle enough for daily use. I’ve never experienced irritation from it, and it layers easily with serums, moisturizers, and sunscreen. It fits seamlessly into both my morning and evening routines. Bottom line: This is one of those products I keep returning to because it consistently delivers good results. It helps balance my combination skin, keeps excess oil in check, provides light hydration, and leaves my skin looking smoother and more refined. After many repurchases over the years, it’s still one of my favorite toners.

Great product but pay attention to cost per ounce. I use Medicube for all my products (except eye patches), but nothing will ever replace Paula’s choice for my toner to keep skin clean, not dry, pores clear, and skin ready to absorb serums and masks, without stripping moisture or my barrier. I use many toners but all start and end with this. Red Succinic, collagen jelly, calming Cica and vitamin c are my daily in that order after this toner (cleanse, this toner with cotton then Medicube pads, then back to this poured in hands and patted into skin before any serum or mask. Non negotiable. 40 oily combo dry skin with large pores that are now clean and healthy thanks to a barrier regiment to keep skin moist and not letting actives drive the day made the difference, healthier and oil at bay, with this skin reboot, and reborn to my late 20s, without Botox or retinol

Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Pore-Reducer is an incredible product on its own, but using it alongside my Medicube Zero pore line has completely transformed my skin! This toner is amazing at balancing out my oily zones and providing lightweight, shine-free hydration with its niacinamide and ceramides. When paired with the exfoliating power of Medicube, my stubborn blackheads are gone, and my enlarged pores look practically invisible. The formula is super gentle, completely fragrance-free, and leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and refreshed without any tight or stripped feeling. If you are struggling with large pores and uneven texture, using Paula's Choice alongside Medicube is the ultimate skincare cheat code. I cannot recommend this combination enough!

This really did wonders for my skin. I’m pale, and still get acne as a 30 year old. This helped to clear up the stubborn ones around my chin and jaw. Helped to also clean my skin after wearing sunscreen- which typically clogs my pores. Really happy too that it doesn’t dry out my skin too much!

This is the only product I have ever used that actually reduces pore size and does not break out my skin. I have used tons of different toners; Mary Kay, proactive, oil of Olay, face reality, medicube, pure witch hazel and rose water - this is the only product hat visibly shrinks the pores on my nose. I have very oily skin and very sensitive skin. So basically anything I use on my skin breaks it out. I got a travel size of this product after reading the reviews and desperately trying make my skin look less wrinkly and just crappy for an upcoming trip with my husband. Since it was a trial size, and available for return I thought what is the worst that could happen, I’ll try it on a little area and if it breaks my face out I’ll send it back. But I was AMAZED. I have had large sunken pore on my nose for about 20 years. No amount of pore strips, cleanser, toner - makes it smaller. But this product almost makes it completely disappear.. I don’t know how it works, because I do have to constantly use it daily to keep the same effect but I visibly lifts and tightens the area around that giant pore. More than satisfied and just ordered the full size bottle because I do not want to run out. If you have larger pores by this! I don’t bother taken a before / after - because I was skeptical but it really works.

I’m currently using it as it was recommended to me by someone in the field of skincare , my skin loves it so far I only bought the small one to test it out I’ll definitely be repurchasing with a bigger size. Even though I bought the travel size a little really goes a long way. It works well with my eczema prone skin

I've been holding off on this review, hoping for something to justify its price. However, I have not found anything to do so. While its a good toner, its exactly that, just a good toner. I was using a drug store witch hazel toner before this. I have oily skin that does so much better without toner, letting my face wash and matching moisturizer do its thing. However, toner is a must to thoroughly clean your face and remove skin flaking (I use cvs brand exfoliating cotton rounds, nothing compares to them). I don't have acne, so I can't speak for that aspect. I can say I have noticed in comparison to the toner I was using prior, I blot my face less. However, I still have to blot all day, so this toner isn't really doing me much of a favor. And again, this is also combined with a great face wash and moisturizer for oily skin. Overall, I don't see the $22 price tag I bought it for as justifiable. I've used many oily skin products over the years, from drug store to department store; from my experience, this toner is over-priced. Maybe it will work for you, and work well for acne. For myself, I will be trying other brands in hope to one day find a toner that has real oil control. ----- Update: 12/9/25 - this bottle ran out weeks ago and I have not replaced with another toner. I have been only using my face wash and moisturizer (c r ve), both formulated for oily skin. My face has never been so oil-free for so many hours (I barely blot now). After all these years, I am convinced that while toners help remove extra dirt, they have no other benefits for oily skin (unless I've yet to find the magical oily skin formula that actually works). For reference, I wash with a face cloth once or twice per week (depending on if I feel I need it, but usually once per week), for exfoliation/removing dead skin cells. Other than that, I just use my hands with my face wash for daily washes. I hope this helps at least one person that has had similar trials and errors!

Tras utilizarlo 1 mes me deja la piel MUY grasienta… la piel si que es verdad que me ha mejorado. Si tienes la piel mixta o grasa, uso diurno olvídate.

Endlich habe ich eine Produktreihe gefunden, die für mich sehr gut passt. Ich habe unreine Mischhaut, die zu vereinzelten, aber dann großen und entzündlichen Pickeln neigt. Zusätzlich habe ich durch eine Schuppenflechte eine leicht empfindliche Gesichtshaut. Man hat schon nach den ersten Anwendungen einen großen Effekt gesehen. Nach ca. 3 Monaten kann ich das erste Mal seit Jahren davon sprechen, dass ich zufrieden mit meiner Gesichtshaut bin. Ich Kombination benutze ich zum Gesichtswasser das Exfolaite Liquid und Waschgel. Gerne würde ich die Tagescreme mal ausprobieren, doch ich muss sagen, dass die mir, besonders in der Summe mit den anderen Produkten, dann doch zu teuer ist.
