IKARUS Mortar And Pestle (Green)

Nice product… exactly as shown in pictures…worth buying

The word i would use to describe this mortar and pestle is Delightful. Aesthetically the finish is good, polished, and no rough edges. It is of good quality and i was happy with what i received. When it comes to size, a hand full of spices could be pounded, or say 5-10 pods of garlic. It is mid-sized, the only constructive feedback i would have on this is if it could have been just a bit bigger, it would have been perfect. The pestle is a good weight and does its job well. Overall, yes i would recommend this to someone else, with the caution on your size expectation.

Totally worth the money you pay for this item.It is very heavy which makes ideal to grind dry and wet items like whole spices , ginger,garlic,chillies,herbs etc.Was well packed and delivered on time .The only improvement I can suggest to it is if they can ship it faster...

The grinding head of the pestle should have been larger considering the dia of the mortar. Secondly, the length of the pestle too short considering the depth of the mortar. Gripping the pestle and griding is uncomfortable. The pestle should be at least 6" and the the grinding head at least 1.5" dia.

I just received mine a couple of days ago. It arrived very well packed. I love it. It's of really good quality and the size is just right. Can be used for coarse grinding handfuls of wet masalas and Spices. It's quite heavy but that testifies it's superior quality.

Small and very good quality just needed for when you need to quickly grind or crush anything .

It took ages to arrive (almost two weeks later than promised last arrival day) and once it arrive, it was not good. Top of that pestle there's no coating, so it's plin white stone, not like that green marble as in picture. Conveniently in this product picture the top of pestle is inside mortar, so customer can't see it. Very cheap.

This is good quality marble, heavy and looks durable. Does the job of grinding peppers, jeera, garlic, nuts and other stuff we throw at it. But the issue is it is not deep. The inside base is only half as deep as it looks from the outside. And because of this you cannot pound your stuff immediately. You need to apply a lot of pressure first to grind your stuff then start pounding or else everything is going to spill out. That's why I shaved off 1 star. Also the base is polished and smooth. Hope they can make it deeper and add some rough finish to the base.
