Can radio play while it's being charged?

Yes, it can play while being charged. I currently have the radio plugged into an USB port to fully charge the rechargeable battery and the radio is charging and playing. I do not currently have D-cell batteries installed, so it is either getting power from the rechargeable battery (which was not completely drained), or directly from the USB power source. OK, to help with the answer, I removed the rechargeable battery, and the radio keeps playing. So, with no batteries installed in the radio, it is playing directly from the power supplied by the USB charger connection.

Approximately how long does the radio play on a full charge?
