Great slide viewer, but not the magnification I expected
This is a well-made slide viewer and everything works as explained on the website. I wanted it to preview old slides before digitizing them. However.... from the main website picture, it looks like the slide is magnified large enough to fit in the 3"x3" window. But it is not. You still have to look down inside the viewing window to see the slide, and it really isn't much bigger than the original slide size. That was misleading for me. It does work well, the slides slide in easily, the backlight is good, the image quality is as good as the quality of the original slide, and the slide pops out nicely. Well made, the instructions are easy to understand, and the price is right.

Inexpensive and gets the job done
Just what I needed to review my Dad's old slides without a huge investment. Very easy to use. Screen size is comfortable as the old viewers were tiny. I also appreciated being able to have a power cord instead of batteries. It did come with 4 batteries.

Does the job well.
Very happy with this purchase, it is simple to use, the slides are easy to see and so far the battery life has been very good. I bought it for my elderly mom to look through a big box of old slides to choose some to digitize and she hasn't had any problems doing so. The image quality is fine, it's bright enough for her to easily see the slides and they are large enough to see if its something she wants to keep.

Glad I found this. It enabled me to see 35 mm slides from 50+ years ago. It's much more substantial than the previous one I had (which quit working many years ago). A big plus is the USB power cable enabling using the item without batteries.

Very easy to review my slides this way
Made it so much easier to sort my old slides so that I knew which ones I wanted to make into pictures to save

Absolutely NOT for slides!
A rip off! The opening for the slide is not wide enough for a slide! Totally worthless for what I wanted it for, namely slides. Unfortunately I didn’t open the box until weeks after I got it. My mistake!
