Hamilton Beach Custom Grind Electric Coffee Grinder For Up To 14 Cups

We had a Hamilton Beach grinder for years, but the thin cover broke long ago. It recently quit working. We wanted another Hamilton Beach grinder to replace the good one we had. This is far superior to the old design. The cover is much sturdier. The machine is far quieter. It is also much better for controlling how small or large you want the grounds to be. We find we use far fewer coffee beans with this grinder because of the way we are able to grind them better, having more enhanced flavor and great control over the size of the grounds. Between saving money on coffee beans and the fact the price hasn’t gone up that much over the years, we are very pleased with the value, durability, and overall performance.

New coffee grinder was last option after 20+ year old Mr Coffee grinder parts became unavailable. This Hamilton Beach Custom Grinder is amazingly better, more consistent grind for better tasting coffee, simple to use, easy to clean stainless bowl, and quiet by a long margin compared to the old one. I am happy for the replacement.

Finally a coffee grinder that works. The burr grinders clog and are a mess to get started without removing all the coffee from the chamber which is a pain. This grinder does not clog and you can set the grind mode or operate it manually. Chamber comes off so just dump the ground coffee into the filter of your machine and good to go. It also does not make a mess on the counter like the burr grinders. Good job Hamilton Beach.

I have this for some time now and have to write a very positive review. I got to say that I love the fact that I can take the grinding base out and put into the dishwasher. I put the setting to 8 cup coffee drip and the grounds are perfect. so far I use every day and no issues. very nice quality purchase....no regrets, and have recommended to friends.

This was a replacement for my ancient Mr. Coffee grinder. I’ve only had it for a little over a week but so far it’s been great. As you can see it’s substantially larger than the Mr. Coffee grinder. The removable stainless steel grinder basket wasn’t something I thought I needed but turns out to be my favorite thing about this product. I find the grind to be a little inconsistent with a coarser grind on top of a much finer grind, that takes a little effort to scoop out, on the bottom of the grinder basket. It took me a time or two to find the right grind for my taste but once I did I get a consistently good pot of coffee with just one touch. The grinder feels substantial and it’s much quieter than its predecessor. With the stainless steel cup, it also feels like, there’s less chance of microplastic making its way into your coffee. It definitely feels like it’ll give years of good service. I’d give it five stars if the power cord wasn’t so short. You can wind it up for neater storage but I’d gladly trade that feature for a longer cord.

It’s a small thing, but after two months I’ve been so pleased with this product that I thought I should write a review. When my old bean grinder broke, I bought an inexpensive one that turned out to be too small (who even knew these things came in different sizes?) and felt cheaply made. This one is plenty big enough to grind beans for a large pot of coffee, it feels sturdy and durable, it’s surprisingly quiet, and it has preset grind levels that are—at least in my experience—consistent and just right. An excellent machine; would definitely buy again.

I was very impressed with this inexpensive coffee grinder. It is easily set to the specific grind for your coffee method, it runs automatically, timed to stop when done, has removable dishwasher safe parts that that lift out of unit so no need to move the unit to load with coffee or wash parts, and it's made of attractive stainless steel. Couldn't be better for the price.

Awesome grinder! Very well made, hefty and I love just pushing down on the top and let it do its thing. Coffee is ground just right for me and my taste. Highly recommend.

Nice grinder but the power cable always comes out. Poor design and because off it I would not buy this grinder again
