Old fashioned toy but still fun. My grandniece enjoys playing with the facial features of the potato. She especially likes the baby potato. There are several parts and lots of ways for her to explore. The parts' pegs have held up well and she has not broken or cracked any of the parts. This package was a good deal.

They are a little hard to put together but still lots of fun. My grandgirl is 2. She is very well coordinated but still has a bit of a time getting the pieces in the holes. However, she really enjoys it. I think they will loosen up as she continues to play with it. She especially, loves the little one. It's a great teaching tool

This is very cute set. The only con was it is hard to get the pieces in for awhile, even for an adult. Once they get broken in the are ok.

Purchased these for use in an Early Childhood Learning classroom and the children really enjoy them. Quality, durable materials. While the Potato Heads do seem slightly smaller than I remember as a child, they are a perfect size for toddler hands. Great assortment of interchangeable pieces that can be mix matched to create fun and unique characters. All pieces can be stored inside the Potato Heads and/or the included suitcase packaging for tidy storage/transport. A classic toy that promotes sensory, hand-eye coordination and fun! I bought this "Potato Family" set for my daughters' first birthday. While 12 months might be a little early for some of the smaller placements, they have played with it constantly ever since! Now that they are a bit older, we use it quite often. It is a fantastic tool for teaching them to identify ears, mouths, hair, eyes, etc. They have so much fun finding the parts as we name them. It’s also excellent for their fine motor skills as they practice pushing the pieces in. A unexpected highlight? They absolutely love opening up the back of the "head" to hide things inside! It keeps them entertained for a long time. I totally recommend this set for any toddler it's a classic for a reason.
