Gaming Wall Light, RGBIC Glide Wall Light

I purchased two sets of the Govee Gaming Wall Lights, specifically the Evangelion edition, and I honestly don’t understand why this version seems so difficult to find now. Even if you are not into Evangelion, this edition has some of the best color effects and visual styling Govee has made. The lighting transitions feel more dynamic and futuristic compared to the standard versions, and the RGBIC effects really stand out in a gaming room or office setup. The build quality is also excellent. The materials feel premium, the diffusers are well made, and the overall design looks high-end even when the lights are turned off. The layered “mecha/cyberpunk” style gives them a unique appearance that looks far more sophisticated than typical RGB wall lights. Multiple reviewers and tech sites have highlighted the Evangelion version specifically for its distinctive design and dimensional lighting effects. Setup and app integration worked well for me, including compatibility with Matter, Alexa, and Google Assistant. The customization options inside the Govee app are honestly impressive. My only real complaint is the mounting system. For a premium product, I wish Govee used a more solid mounting solution instead of relying heavily on adhesive stickers. They hold, but it doesn’t inspire long-term confidence, especially if you ever want to reposition the lights or have textured walls. Overall, these are some of the coolest RGB wall lights I’ve owned. Even as someone who is not an Evangelion fan, I bought them purely because of how unique and high quality they look.

I had intended to get the regular version of these light bars, but these were on sale and they are really good looking. I've never watched Evangelion, I grew up in a much earlier era of anime. Dating myself a bit, but I watched Robotech when I got home from school back when it was on broadcast TV. That said, I imagine I probably would have liked Evangelion too, had it been around back then. But as for the lights, I have a couple other things from Govee that I was very impressed by. And to be fair, I'm probably a little old to be farting around with these kinds of lights, but whatever. I enjoy it, so I don't care. These things are very well built, easy to put together and set up, and are really, really good at what they do. They look just fantastic, and you can do pretty much whatever you want them to do. Software is very easy to deal with, and it's no issue syncing them up with any existing lighting you're already using in your PC. And yes, the packaging is really, really impressive and darn cool. It was almost a shame to have to mess with the presentation they did with these. But yeah, if you're looking to do this kind of lighting rig, you're not going to be disappointed with Govee's stuff. Everything I've done with their products has been hassle free and looks just awesome. Top notch, for sure.

I’m a Philips Hue owner and have never cared for Govee products in the past, however the Evangelion crossover and the unique look of these lights persuaded me to buy them. Out of the box these lights are impressive, they’re nice and solid feeling and the magnetic covers look great and give a nice depth to the lights. Hooking them up is super easy once you decide the shape you want. Overall setup is a breeze! Once set up adding them to the Govee app was incredibly easy. The lights have a ton of great function and pattern options right out of the gate. They’re also extremely bright when turned up, and look great when you turn them to about half power. Overall I’m extremely pleased with these. There’s a lot of great little Eva nods on them, they have a unique futuristic/cyberpunk type feel to them that separates them from the normal lights that Philips or Govee normally sell. My only gripe would be that they should include another set of connectors with them. You get a small square and a small triangle connector in this but it would really open up the set up possibilities if we had a couple more.

I was iffy on buying these. I'm generally pretty cheap with the rgb I have in my setup going for the lower 15-20 dollar options. I got a notification that the 6 pack for these was on sale and bit the bullet. These are so sick. Obviously from other customer reviews and pictures you can see that the lights are cool, but they absolutely nailed all of the other little things as well. The unboxing experience is insane. The box is a nesting doll style shell where you peel back layers of texture to get to the middle. The lights themselves are gorgeous with an integrated magnetic snap on system for the diffusers. Obviously you can tailor and customize the lights to be whatever color you like, but the box includes a custom qr coded card to unlock evangelion themes that are 10/10 directly out of the box. I can not recommend these enough.

Love these lights. The only issue is I had to replace the 3M tape on the back with more 3M tape because they don’t seem to like to stay on the wall. Other than that, they are great. Love the lights

I purchased a full set of 12 pieces, and they are well worth the price. The colours are incredibly vivid and bright, the details of the board are striking. Incredible amount of customisation for this product. As usual the Govee app handles the set up easily, has the timers and creations etc etc. Very happy here.

These lights are super cool! I have spent countless hours playing with all of the different functions and combinations! I bought 3 sets of 6 + connectors and 2 sets of the “Y” version. I plan on buying more for sure!! I bought my own adhesive (20lb test Velcro roll) and cut them to size. Now I know my lights will never fall off. There’s so many good things to say about these lights from unboxing to days later tinkering with my own light show. The app has its own community!! So freaking cool!! I can use my voice to control any setting or just have my lights automatically turn on when I’m near and shut off when I get too far. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying these if you’re interested in them. You won’t be disappointed! I will be buying more

These lights are so awesome! I was skeptical at first if the purple Evangelion theme would suit my gaming room, but after putting these lights up, I think they add a nice touch to the room even when they're off. When they're on, they're just indescribably cool. I love that the lights inlayed into the bar and the middle can be different colour's, and the light designs pre-loaded as well as the options to find or create your own design is so expansive! It's a very unique product that adds so much to the room and I often find myself just starting at these lights. Even the unboxing experience of this product was premium and unique, you can tell govee really cared about this product, it was better experience than unboxing any collectors editions games I've bought. I had a slight issue with one of the connector pieces burning out and not working within a month but govee customer service was on point. They sent me a replacement set of lights within a couple of days and it was back to normal! These lights are so worth it! 5/5 product and 6/5 customer service/support!

Amazing! Have always had a cyber themed light set up in mind but these are next level absolutely love those Govee app pretty good probably the only thing I’m not a fan of but the lights are great!

These lights are distinctive, fun, and beautiful. I wanted something that would provide some fun mood lighting to my gaming/office setup. I waited for these to go on sale and now wish I'd bought another set. These are super easy to setup. I chose not to use the supplied adhesive strips and went with some 3M velcro strips. Fortunately the 3M strips attached to the velcro already on the back of the light bars. I do wish there was at least one more connector included. Either a square or triangle would have been nice. I do like that you can set these up in many different configurations so it's customizable to fit your space. I have other Govee products and using the app is really easy. I use a Stream Deck to control the lights with a Govee plugin which is really convenient. Wait for a sale and pick up two!!

Pricey but unique ... and now dropping in price, grab them before they are gone! would love to be able to connect more than 12 pieces.
