Kid professed an interest in science. This was a Christmas gift. She set it up by herself and it's on her desk under her loft. She says she can see clearly and is fascinated. It's compact - she still has room for her laptop on the desk with the microscope. Ended up getting some sample slides separately once we established interest. Great STEM purchase.

The gadget is an outstanding magnifier. I use it for coins and jewelry but my grandchildren just love to put bugs, leaves, anything that will fit underneath to see it bigger! It is an amazing fun item to have around the house. I had no idea. Easy set up. The size is great and it functions perfectly for what i need, and my grandchildren. It encourages exploration of insects, coins, basically anything! Read the directions and you’ll be amazed at all the things you can use this for! It has a lot of functions, but it’s easy to understand. What a great purchase.

The stand does come fully assembled, but there are only three pieces and it’s is very simple to set up. The base is a sturdy plastic and the arm (I’m going to call it) is aluminum so it’s lightweight, but also sturdy. The screen is about 4-5 times as big as the first digital microscope I owned and the screen image is so crisp! Very easy to figure out how to do the very basic operations such as raising and lowering the microscope and focusing the screen image. I mainly use mine for looking at coins. I have also used it a couple times for inspecting the leaves one of my house plants that I suspected had some sort of parasite. I was able to snip a leaf and zoom in to make out the little sucker (confirming my suspicions unfortunately), but it was a fun process. This one takes photos and has a record mode so you can insert a memory card and review files. You can also connect to a computer! This microscope performs amazingly and even though it’s a little pricey, it was well worth it!

It's not bad considering the low price. It has as good a picture as I expected and works well for my needs with electronics. The image is clear and bright although the built in lights cause some glare in the corners. If you turn those down and use an external light source, the glare is not there. It was is to setup and operate. It is mostly plastic, but if you are careful, it should be fairly durable. It has a remote control which is useful if you need to take a picture without touching it and making it shake. Overall, I am mostly happy with it.

Bought to inspect pokemon cards for grading, it was a great idea! It’s made of plastic but that makes it light for taking it cons. It’s really easy to use i read the manual once and even after months and forgetting instructions it’s easy to figure out. If you choose to take photos with it it’s a bit close for a full card back but it’s good enough quality. For the money you can’t do bad, if you have bad eye sight I’d suggest the ones with a bigger screen but for a Quick Look this things great.

This device although inexpensive does NOT display the whole image .Although disappointing I will keep it but you have to keep moving it to see all areas of the coin and never the entire image at once.

Bigger screen compared to other competitors. Works with ease producing a high picture quality that was impressive. Definitely worth the money getting a bigger bang for your buck.

Ich hatte dieses Mikroskop ursprünglich für meine Kinder bestellt, damit diese sich selbst Tiere und andere Gegenstände unter einem Mikroskop beobachten können. Nun habe ich aber selbst einmal gebrauch davon gemacht. Ich hatte einen Fensterreiniger, der defekt war. Ich konnte die kleinen und winzigen Elektronikteile direkt unter dem Mikroskop begutachten und war in der Lage den Defekt des Fensterreinigers zum lokalisieren und zu beheben. Allein dafür hat sich die Anschaffung dieses Mikroskops schon gelohnt. Die Darstellung im Display ist gut und klar. sehr Toll sind tatsächlich die stufenlosen Einstellungen des Zooms. Zudem kann man über das Display noch einen digitalen Zoom aktivieren. Die Verarbeitung ist zudem auch sehr angemessen und es wirkt nicht billig. Insgesamt bin ich bisher sehr begeistert. Es ist nicht nur ein Spielzeug für Kinder, sondern kann auch für wirklich ernsthafte Anwendungen, z.B. Reparaturen von Elektronik benutzt werden.

I bought this after looking long and hard at illuminated glass magnifiers. I'm about to get back into plastic kit modelling and my eyes aren't what they were when I was 10 years old, no surprise really! It's decent quality, though some components feel a little flimsy, most components are decent quality. It comes disassembled and assembly is easy, it doesn't take a great deal of brain power. ONE THING TO NOTE: there is a lens dust cap on the microscope which needs to be removed before use. I haven't actually started to use it for painting, however, I have started to examine the miniatures from the game Scythe, which I intend to paint. (Scythe is a great game....buy it!) I was surprised at the level of detail that you can achieve with this microscope. What look to be smooth, seamless surfaces on the Scythe character miniatures are actually very badly affected by flash (the over-pouring of plastic in the mould). They will need a lot of sanding. However, to the naked eye, they look perfect. These miniatures are probably around 2cm tall, including the base. ANOTHER thing to note, is that the inbuilt LED illumination is completely insufficient to prevent graininess on the screen. If you add another light source, your screen view will be almost perfect. This "microscope" is not really suitable for scientific study, the magnification is insufficient. This, however, would be an ideal gift for a child who's parents want to encourage at school. It has significant magnification for basic investigation and will save spending hundreds on an optical microscope before finding out if the child is interested. You may be wondering why I have given it 5 stars, when there are a couple of fundamental flaws. It's because the value for money, performance per pound ratio, is very high. I know it's not for everyone, and some more experienced miniature modellers will say it's no good, but from my perspective it's perfect. BUY IT, IT'S DOTTORE APPROVED!

Sincèrement, pour le prix le jeu en vaut la chandelle. Un écran dont la résolution est clairement suffisante pour de la micro soudure. Un petit bémol sur la stabilité de la fixation de l'écran sur son support, mais rien de méchant. On peut insérer une carte µSD et le tour est joué pour les amateurs de nature en tout genre.

Fantastic product, was given as a christmas present to my child and is of brilliant quality and clarity. Can't believe how clear the image provided is. Magnification is great, does take quite a bit of time to charge but so worth it. Excellent purchase. Perfect size and I love the fact you can take it apart and use it out and about. Super easy to use too.
