NICOFPHY Weed Puller Tool with Long Handle, Heavy Duty Garden Hoe and Rake

This tool is absolutely amazing! It works really well. I have rheumatoid arthritis and back problems. I have really missed gardening so I thought I would give this tool a try. I was able to use it without putting much strain on my back and joints. The claw is strong and makes pulling weeds easier. I highly recommend this! I am very satisfied with it. Great price too.

This thing is awesome. You can pull up a ton of weeds in seconds with barely any effort. It beats bending over and having to rip and pull the weeds out with your hands one at a time. I wish I would have known about this tool a long time ago. I cleared out an area full of crab grass that would have taken easily 30 minutes and a lot of manual labor by hand - in only like 5 minutes with the tool.

The weed puller is of good quality and I like that the length of the tool can be adjusted by adding or removing lengths of the handle. I gave this 4 stars because I still did a lot of bending and pulling while using the tool, which was hard on my back. However, if you have crabgrass, which I did, this tool is super good at removing the crabgrass using the pronged end. The tool is not that great for other weeds that have more slender or slippery leaves and they just pass through the prongs. The other end can be used but the roots are left in the ground so I found myself bending over to pull them out. I would buy this tool again just for its great use of removing crabgrass, although not other weeds that much.

Every now and then you purchase something and know immediately it was the right choice. My yard is absurd, there are more weeds than grass blades. I didn't count, but that's a safe estimate. Ordinarily I'd just mow over them because I live in Florida and that just makes things easy when it's 95 degrees outside. The proper way to remove the weeds, however, is to pull them by the root as everyone knows. This thing does just that in a very efficient way. It saves your back, it's durable, the blades (many uses later) are still very sharp, and it's light weight. You can adjust the length, but I've only used it at max length so I can't speak on how well it works otherwise. Using it with a shorter length would seem to defeat the purpose if your goal is to not have to bend all the way over. The only small complaint I have is that because the sections connect to each other, at times they'll rotate and become a bit loose. It's not a big deal, though, a quick twist and it's right back to being secure. The hoe side is great for weeks with very shallow roots, you can clear entire areas of weeds like this with minimal effort. A tip for using the pointed end for weeds with longer roots, pull towards the weed slowly. Some weed types it's hard to tell where the main root is, if you pull too fast it might be off-center and break tear the top of the weed from its root. Pull towards the weed slowly until you feel the prongs "catch" on the main root, and then pull. If this thing ever breaks I'd buy it again with no hesitation, it's one of the rare purchases that really has no drawbacks and yet still is affordably priced.

I was initially doubtful that this would work, and was surprised at how easily it went together and was sturdy afterwards. You can adjust the length for the task at hand which was convenient also. The digging ends were also unexpectedly functional and sharp. Happy with the purchase.

This weed puller works best on weeds that are close to the ground when you cannot grab them with your hands. For larger weeds, it does best if you can get to them before they get too big as I found this tool did not get the roots and only part of the weed (mugwort is one I am referring to). I love the fact that it quickly clears out a patch of grass or mulch for planting, it is also useful when removing old mulch to replace with new. I think it is great that it has a 60" handle, so no bending. It is made of durable material. My only negative comment, and thus the 3 stars is that it does not work on larger or thin weeds, best on ones such as dandelions and those that spread through the garden, I wish the teeth were closer together

Hands down the BEST garden tool I've ever used and at my age I've used my share!! Haven't experienced handle loosening. Hoe side is especially sharp and easily chops thick roots approximately +1/2" thick (I swear go to China) exposing them to weed killer. Finally a sturdy tool to make a so very much dreaded chore so very much quicker and easier for this elderly lady.

This little tool is great. It gets the roots of the weeds and makes your weeding quick and easy. I like it so much that I ordered it with a long handle. Get this little gem and your garden will look great 😃!

Was a defective piece. One of the plastic connections was cracked. So returned it back.
