Was awesome for about 30 mins.. then the gears that were plastic grind out!! If had stronger parts or a better set up would be worth it. Sad becuase i bought 2 of them and both of them had the same issues.

This is a pretty nice RC car, especially for the price. Previously, you had RC cars at this price point that were very basic. They drove, but there weren't really repair options available. When it broke, it broke. This came with a box of parts, and the important parts are covered. Metal drive shafts is nice, the motor has a heat sink on it, to prevent problems, and the bottom of the car is solid, strong plastic. The car is made to take some abuse. It is by no means a pro level car, but those are $300 to start. This one is perfect for the amateur RC car fan. Someone listed the body as "cheap", that's just how these are made. The body is just a shell to look good, so that shouldn't be held against it. Driving it on the street, it's pretty nice and fast. Enough so, that if you head down the road, and crank the wheel, it will spin around a few times. In the back yard, it handles the holes and hummocks pretty well. If my soil wasn't sandy, I'd never be able to get it stuck. Good ground clearance, true 4WD, and good response. The only true Con I found is the remote controller needing AA batteries. In this day and age, a rechargeable battery would have been pretty simple. Otherwise, all Pros, including trim adjustments on the controller, so you can adjust the alignment on the fly.

Awesome rc car, fast, works great. This is the second one I’ve bought like this and always have had great experiences. Nothing last forever but replacement parts are available and makes a great time fixing stuff with the kids. highly recommend

I went through 2 of these trucks in 2 days with only an hour of use each. The steering servo died on one and the drive gears stripped out on the other. Sure, some replacement parts come with the car but that shouldn't be needed after an hour of basic use. Don't waste your money, spend a bit more and get the Haiboxing18859 truck instead. I eventually went with that ruck and it is better in every way. Plus it's actually upgradeable should you decide to play with that down the line.
