This was a simple drop in replacement for an American / Whirlpool N40S61-403. Just be aware the pilot tube fitting was slightly different than the OEM part.

Restocking fee outrageously high!!
They advertise that this would work with my water heater but it was not compatible. When I returned it they charged me a $79.00 restocking fee! Disgraceful!!
