PERFECT desk chair for a small apartment
Comfort: The chair is comfortable for long stretches of time at a desk, and shaped such that you can lean back in the chair without it reclining. I'm 6'1" and the top of the back rest hits just under my shoulder blades when I lean back. I can sit in it for an hour or two before I start thinking about adding a pillow under my butt. Construction & swivel: Evidently of decent quality. Good stitching, no loose parts. I expect it to last 2-5 years and will be happy having paid $150 for it if it does; the wood base is of simple enough construction that I'm confident I could reinforce it pretty easily if it ever started to fall apart. The swivel is smooth and quiet--it's not quite as "free" of a swivel as a typical office chair, where you might get several gliding spins from a single kick, but I think I could get one good spin in. This slightly higher resistance makes for a more comfortable experience, I think, since you're not constantly floating side-to-side or having to subconsciously stop yourself from gliding around--if you're not moving your legs or hips, you feel like you're in a stationary chair. I prefer that. Apartment life: I bought this chair to use with a desk in my (tiny) apartment's living room, so I appreciate that it sort of just looks like a stylish little accent chair. The chair is sturdy, as mentioned, but it's light enough that you can slide it around a tile floor relatively noiselessly and you don't need to feel self-conscious about disturbing your downstairs neighbors. I think it's sized perfectly; it feels like a larger chair than it looks like. It pushes in under a desk almost all the way, and is only 22" wide, so it's not taking up a lot of floor space.

Beautiful and fits my living room office perfectly
I love my new chair! We recently moved to a smaller home and I went from an office of my own to a small corner in the living room, so my big office chair was an eyesore. This chair fits the bill perfectly. Beautiful to look at and just the right size. The instructions are minimal and confusing, but once you figure what the diagrams mean, it's quick and easy to put together. I did it myself in about 15 minutes. Ergonomically, I expect this will not be as good as my actual office chair was for long workdays. But since I work from home, I can get up and walk around regularly to help counteract any issues. However, just sitting in it now, it is comfortable and feels very sturdy. If you are a large or tall person, this chair won't be for you. I'm 5'2" and about 165 lbs and I just fit into this chair. If you are larger, it would be uncomfortable. Or if you have very long legs, it expect it would not be a good choice, either. But if you're shorter like me, it will be perfect for you. My feet just touch the ground (though don't sit flat) when I sit all the back into the chair. The color in this picture looks darker than it actually is. It's a beautiful, rich, dark royal blue - my favorite! Very happy with this purchase.

360 degree swivel, but not height adjustable
I bought this mid century modern swivel chair in off-white with natural oak wood legs for a small desk in a bedroom with limited floor space. The off-white, soft upholstery and back tucking are really lovely and comfortable. The chair with sloping arms slides under the 28" tall desk. The width of the chair fits easily within the 31" width of the desk. Be aware this is not a large chair. The chair swivels 360, but height is not adjustable. At 5'7" and a size 6 women's rear end, this chair is adequate for me but not roomy. Seated with my bare feet flat on the floor, my knees are at 90 degrees. a taller person may find this chair too low. A larger person may find this chair too narrow in the seat. Assembly was easy following the instructions. All materials were well packaged and nothing was missing. The 1", square, self-stick pads provided for the bottom of the wooden chair feet allow the chair to slide over a solid surface floor without scratching. No coasters on the chair legs. I give this chair 4 out of 5 stars as the height is not adjustable.

Cute desk chair, comfy enough
I purchased this chair for my teenager to use at their desk, which they use for homework and their art tablet setup. I wanted something that looked nicer than your generic rolling desk chair but something they could sit back in and get comfy and this really fit the bill. It's not a huge chair but perfect for young adults - I sat in it as a plus sized adult and it was comfortable enough; I probably wouldn't choose it for myself as a desk chair as I like more lumbar support (and my butt is bigger) but for reading or occasional use? Sure! I got the gray fabric in the interest of hiding stains and it's a nice color, feels substantial and isn't too slippery or scratchy. I read some reviews where people were unhappy with the two zippers running up the sides in the back, but I don't think they're terrible at all, they are aligned with the seams and the cover looks super easy to remove for washing and then get back on the chair so I'm happy they're there. The chair itself is the perfect height for a student desk and my teenager sits in the completely ergonomic position of propping one's feet on one's desk while holding their drawing tablet on their legs. You know, sort of like yoga only sitting. It's even more important that the chair doesn't roll in this instance so I like having the legs instead. Overall it's a nice little chair especially for the price - it looks modern and for a kid it's like having their own fancy furniture. I'd even get these chairs if I had a breakfast nook or needed one for a small space on a porch or in a living room.

Looks Great, Surprisingly Comfortable
Been meaning to replace my desk chair for a couple years now and bought this on a whim. It looked nice in the pictures and I figured that if it wasn't comfortable I could put it with our living room desk that doesn't get used much. Man, it is really comfortable. The seat feels stiff and without much cushion at first, but once I settle in it forms to the back of my butt where it turns into my back - something no other chair I have ever had did. The side bolsters are not very high so they cannot be used as arm rests, but they hug my thighs just enough to keep me in place and make it feel like I have a lot of support. My girlfriend is a bigger girl and she even loves it - and she fills it out more than I do. I'm 5ft 11in 220lbs and she is 5ft 7in 245 just to give some perspective on who it might fit. It looks great, the pictures do it pretty good justice. The build quality is adequate, not excellent, but also completely acceptable. Assembly is super easy, each leg attaches to the center piston with 2 passthrough nuts and a bolt. So 16 fasteners total. My only complaint is that it would benefit from being an inch or 2 higher. Height adjustment would be nice. I'll likely model and 3D print stands to add a little extra height.

For my wife's birthday, I decided to revamp her workspace with an adjustable standing desk and the Art Leon Mid Century Modern Swivel Accent Chair in Off White. The result? A resounding success! She was over the moon with the upgrades, and here's why the chair stood out: Swivel Functionality: The 360° swivel feature is not just a novelty; it's incredibly practical. Comfort: The chair boasts a roomy depth and wide seat, making it perfect for long hours at the desk. Whether she's reading, working, or simply relaxing, the firm yet cushioned seat ensures optimal comfort. Design & Aesthetics: The Mid-Century modern style seamlessly blends with our home decor. The off-white color is both elegant and versatile, and the oak wood legs add a touch of sophistication. The high-quality polyester cotton fabric and exquisite tailoring give it a premium look and feel. Sturdiness: Despite its chic appearance, this chair is built to last. With a metal frame that holds over 330lbs and sturdy oak wood legs, it's both durable and reliable. Size & Dimensions: The chair's dimensions make it a perfect fit for various spaces, be it the living room, bedroom, or home office. The seat height and width are just right, ensuring it's suitable for both work and relaxation. In conclusion, the Art Leon Swivel Accent Chair has been a fantastic addition to our home. Paired with the adjustable standing desk, it's transformed my wife's workspace into a stylish and functional haven. If you're looking for a chair that combines aesthetics, comfort, and practicality, this one's a winner! Highly recommended.

It’s okay - not a “regular” use kind of chair
It’s a really cute/ decent chair in theory, but I have only had it for about 2mo and it’s already very noisy/ squeaky when moving. The noise actually happened pretty quickly (within the first month). I do WFH most of the week so it does get regular use but didn’t think it would wear down so quickly. As for size, it is pretty small. I needed something smaller for my space but the seat itself is even a little tight for me sometimes and I have a smaller stature than most (5ft 120ibs). If your someone who like to cross your legs when sitting this chair might not be the best due to the size. I can cross mine but not comfortably. The cushioning on the seat is also just okay. Sitting in it daily has definitely wore it down (as expected) but it’s not super comfortable to sit in all day as it’s a little hard/ stiff and I can only imagine it’ll get worse with more use since it’s only been a couple months. Overall, I think this would be a good chair if it’s not being used on a regular basis and if you have a smaller stature. Not sure how it will hold up with my long term/ regular usage.
